Supply chain. The bakery still has their flour and ingredients. And the people to bake the bread. Short supply chain. -
Popsicles. Continual ice chips. Cold water. Whatever you can get down if cold is your thing. ((hugs))

Gosh! Such burden! ((hugs)) I can't waive a magic wand and keep you from feeling the things you are feeling, but if I could, I would. You are a strong productive person and you've done things you never thought you could do before and have succeeded SO WELL! You've been an inspiration to many here! I BELIEVE. Choose to believe. Even if you don't feel it in your heart. Choose to believe that this WILL end and that we will all rebuild! Escape if that helps you for now. But also plan or schedule time to do things that are constructive. For instance, I love the idea of being a "super cleaner." Maybe research what it takes to be a plague cleaner?! I know my niece has passed a cold around her house and asked the other day if there were any cleaners who would come in and deep clean...like DEEP clean. Clean toys. Sanitize. Etc. So research it! Charge a premium for it cuz you will become a front liner. You would be able to hire people. People are desperate for work. And you would be able to pay well. It would be pre-pay or pay on completion so no waiting for invoices to be paid. Also, there will be tax extensions, and tax forgiveness. This is being planned. There will be bailouts. I just believe that this is the beginning of a forced change for us all. And you WILL get to revise and conquer. Remember to deep breath. And start thinking creatively how to repackage your business to adjust to this changing need. People will still need to have cleaning!!! Businesses too.

Volume is KING. Most of us don't have to worry about calories at the 3 week stage (although I still logged them and i was at around 350-500 cals at 3 weeks). And the volume range for 3 weeks seems to average 1/8-1/4cup of VOLUME. That could be up to 4 fl. ounces of liquids. Or up to 1 egg, or up to 1-2oz of soft protein by weight, depending on how dense it is. Generally, dense protein 1oz, occupies about 1/4c by VOLUME of food.

I owe it all to the deli paper used between pieces of sliced cheese. And to Pinterest. hehe! -

Awwww! Thank him for me! But you are STILL putting yourself on the line. Cuz you are helping people via phone where they may need help even more than in person. And that need is only gonna grow the longer we are in lock down IMHO. ((hugs)) That's takes a ginormous toll on our own psyche. So big hug and thanks from me! MUAH! -

Go to the forums (Website Assistance) and ask Ken to delete them for you. TY for wanting to become part of this forum. We need active peeps here who post inspirational stuff for all! -
At 3 weeks, I was 1/8-1/4cup MAX volume per meal. And on soft foods: soft scrambled eggs, mushy wet tuna/chicken salad, poached white fish, canned green beans, veggies cooked to the edge of hell and beyond, pureed-ish stoups...

This happened for lunch yesterday. No survivors. LOL. This isn't really a recipe, just an assembly. But, you "can" make your own Near Zero Cal 1000 Island dressing, or use your favorite reduced cal version. I love the WF Thousand Island add an extra splash of unfiltered apple cider vinegar, a jooge of yellow mustard and a hit of granulated garlic to it for more tartness! But you don't have to... Here's the nutritional information/ingredients for the wrap. It doesn't include the hummus or side veggies. -

I understand all of that, which is why I took the time to explain this to you. We can't have too many bari bloggers out there posting inspirational, HEALTHY, approaches to life after WLS, IMHO. I want you to succeed. (And FYI, the affiliate links are one of the way most bloggers make money. And in the beginning, it's quite small remuneration, but some big bloggers are making thousands. So it's not an insignificant source of income/advertising that you are trying to promote. Not totally altruistic. But you should not have to be altruistic. You should be able to make money from your experience and knowledge and help. You just need to "own it" and not make it appear like you're doing it from the goodness of your heart.) -
Hi y'all! Bari Healthy Life is on IG. I'd love to connect! @imbacnow2020 ! Hope to see y'all!

I'm confused. Did you NOT receive any advice about portions and Stages to eat post surgery?

You can build your presence, not by spamming the forum with multiple posts advertising your blog and IG, but rather by being a true contributor and getting to know people and helping motivate them. Not by just dropping your addys in multiple places. If you are on a desktop you will see you've bombed the "Recent Posts" area with your spammy posts. If you're on mobile, you will see you did it at the bottom of the site. It's just not very nice to do. Build a following organically, but genuine engagement with people. You have an important contribution to make. You have a great story. But you can't take short cuts and not have people think you're just here to advertise to a "core market." -

What a great transformation!!! Glad you're here. I hope you jump in and contribute to our forums! Curious, why post 4 other posts that are only just introducing your business (blog/IG)? Isn't one of them sufficient? Inquiring minds... -

LOL, so I think it's likely you are an inflammatory person set on trolling here by causing drama. You have less than 10 posts and the first time I see you, you are posting a post set for drama. LOL. I could care less that you had an opportunity to live a new life with a spanking new second chance and yet, you're cherry picking the rules our surgeons give us that are based on best practices from the ASMBS for our tools. And you're essentially giving your second chance the great big old middle finger salute. Way to work it, dude! Waves up. Enjoy! -

Hmmm, so it kinda sounds like you're daring us to knock the battery off your shoulder? What are you? Like a 5'2" actor peddling batteries? LOL. Do you boo. Let's re-meet in 5 years and see where we are! -

Say prayers, God answers. From one of my friends who works in health care, posted this online. I didn't want to call the number and tie up the line, but can't absolutely confirm this is true: -

@Debbieduck4 PM me if you want to attend my online support meeting tonight at 6pm CST. We're a great group of committed folks who really motivate each other and help us with accountability and focus. It's hard to go back to basics, but IMHO that's what it takes. Plan, weigh/measure, log EVERYTHING that goes in your mouth for a baseline. Everything. Then look at ways to cut the trash out and emphasize the healthy stuff. Prioritize protein, water, healthy veg, healthy fats. You can do it. Seen too many people succeed in getting back to goal to believe it won't. Hang in there. These are tough days.
