    Backhanded compliments

Life is short. Don't carry grudges. Besides, living well is the best revenge. And so you continue your journey--you always look put together and smokin' hot and you kill with kindness. And you live your life--secretly gloating that you look and feel F-I-N-E, FINE and that you won't ever be taken in by his stupidity.

How much/what have you had? (protein) and are you hungry? What are you thinking about eating? I'm kinda in the same boat. I'm trying to get my protein shake in before dinner. *sigh*

Hey, maybe you outsmart yourself? Maybe as you see the goal getting close, you quickly make a post goal goal? Like a back-up plan. And you start practicing gratitude and being proud of yourself. Then you move on to the next goal.

Everyone day eating habits 7-10 months PO

Are you a dude? Cuz if so, that sounds low on calories, given the amount you move and exercise. And at that time, 100g of food is just 3 1/2oz or there abouts! 112g=4oz; 140g=5oz etc...So you have quite a bit of restriction. And no wonder you are still losing. Hopefully some vets will be by to tell you how to go to maintenance. I do know it's a trial and error experimentation thing. If it were me, I'd slowly add in food--maybe start by adding about 250extra cals in the form of dense food such as: avocado, more nuts, full fat cheese, a tsp of butter or oil per meal or so...or add in a couple tbsp of salad dressing to a salad. That sort of thing. But I'm not a vet and am still in losing mode at 10.5months. Edited: DERP I just saw Jenn hopped in to give advice--excellent advice!

How much do you move each day--your activity level? Do you keep those limits cuz that's where you feel fullness? Are you still actively losing at this threshold? What are the calories/macros broken down on this? At 7 months is sure seems like you are still consuming a lot of your food with liquids. To me that would go against my doc's wishes. What does your doc say about your plan? Congrats on surpassing goal! Are you male or female?
  13. Welcome! Hope you find some fellow mates!

    Expected weight loss rate?

Expect 2-4lbs per week in the beginning. That's average. Quit watching My 600lb Life. LOL. Also there is a well-known 3 week stall that happens. You're right on time. Relax. Breathe. Work your program. Congrats!
  15. Wooohoooo Wilkommen! Bienvenute! Welcome! Aloha! Never underestimate the power of hot black coffee/tea to curb appetite! I'm dryin' out after the holidays and these will be my go to salvation friends after dinner! hehehe For some reason, they have the power to turn off my cravings--even for snacky food. But I agree with @sillykitty, if you are legit hungry, then have a legit snack--something of low pleasure value but high nutrient value and calories if you can. For me, if I'm legit hungry, then a hard boiled egg satisfies. If I don't want that and instead want something shenanigany--then yeah--we're talking illegitimate head hunger cravings rather than true body hunger. 16:8 is a great place to start with IF!! You'll do great! Never really bought into the breakfast thingy...I don't usually get hungry til around noonish-ish. I am however a late dinner eater. It's hard to get dinner in before 8pm. Don't know why...probably cuz that's what we did growing up. So we try for between 7-8pm and try to finish by 8pm or earlier. But we're a raging work in progress!

Do you need the link? Here it is! I think it's a matter of preference and belief. We all do it a little differently and meh, that works! If you're hard core, then it's honestly nothing with calories/carbs/protein during the fast. So anything that doesn't make your body think it's having to digest food--including artificial sweeteners. But few of us are purists. So whatever gets you to the finish is what works. Some days for me it's only plain water, black coffee, and black - green tea/Matcha (flavored non calorie tea bags are fine). But other days, I need a cup of broth or a splash of protein drink in my coffee or tea, or a squirt of liquid stevia. But in the end, anything that you can do to improve is good news. Right? Welcome to our clubhouse the dark side!!!

Oh and my vote? Like @GreenTealael always says, "If there's no pics, it didn't happen." So I kinda think/feel that if you don't post a pic of your current self, you can't play in the game. We all have phones now and can snap bad selfies (see above)...Right? Am I right????!!!

    ❤ JANUARY 2019 CHALLENGE ❤

Ok, I'm in! SW: 287.4lbs CW: 150.4lbs GW #2: 140lbs GW #3: 130lbs 10.5 months post op RNY I'm at #1 goal weight, but I want to lose more!!! I want to see if I can destroy my thunder thighs once and for all! Goals Consume 60-74g or more Protein per day Take all my Vitamins Get in 100+ oz Fluid a day Start logging faithfully Start exercising again today! Walk 1hour 6 days per week, and add in strength training and core building exercises 3 days per week. I too have grown complacent over the holidays and it shows. Even though my weight and waist size are stable and the same as they were pre-holiday, from looking at my pics, it looks like I'm "soft" and spongy? Like my tummy is bigger and my thighs look flabbier!! Grrrr!!! More thigh rub! Ok....I'm a do this thing! (Sorry, I still have 1 MORE Christmas to celebrate this weekend and presents left to be wrapped. It's the Christmas that never ends! *sigh*) Here's my starting pic - 1/1/2019
