And never overlook the power a big old glass of cinnamon apple tea with 10g of whole psyllium husks dissolved in them. I was starving this afternoon and realized I hadn't taken my psyllium yet. So so full now.

I knew it! They all look like you. Question, do you wear any bottoms over them? Are you thighs and legs still fit for prime time? I would have to put on swim shorts or use a wrap...

Awww @KCgirl061 that was supposed to be a funny one--cuz you know the little emoji has his hands forward and it doesn't look like a hug so much, Cuz of VS being a hot mess with sizing. Why so sad hon? -
These types/styles of tankini are all over Target and Walmart for even lower I think? Plus you get the added fun of trying it on in front of their trick changing room mirrors from hell! ha!

Dieticians/nutritionists question
FluffyChix replied to Zemi's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I saw her every month for six months. And I couldn't miss a month or the insurance 6-month clock would reset to zero. So don't miss an appointment, even if you have a gain! I also took a seminar. And now post-op, I still see her every month because she facilitates the local support group I attend. I love her. She is so real and down to earth and provides a touchstone and accountability for me. And she works within my comfort zone for foods. I encourage you to find a bariatric RD whom you trust and with whom you can build a solid "forever" relationship with! -

I swear it's gonna happen!! Your meals sound great!! But I would maybe only do TRE (time restricted eating, as long as you make sure you can get enough meals in!!!). Like a 16:8... Your stall will break. You are doing so great!!! -

Ok, great thread! I'll play! Lateral choices are what shore me up all the dang. time! I'm at the point where truly my life is about 90-95% Best and 3-8% Better and about 2% Good. I haven't gone "hog wild" eat the whole candy bar thing since before surgery. Hallelujah. The angels sang. Bad - A whole order or BWW Wings with Fried Cheese Curds and Fried Mushrooms Good - Having 2 wing flats, and 2 curds and 1 mushrrom with celery and blue cheese Better - Air Frying the wings at home and tossing with a zero calorie sauce to keep it lower fat. Air frying broccoli and cauliflower and making Grk Yogurt Ranch Dip. Best - Air Frying chicken breasts with a mustard garlic coating. Making a great salad with a few pumpkin seeds and reduced fat feta with some zero calorie dressing and a little avocado. __________________________________ Bad - Wasting an entire day on YouTube vids and FB and BP (sorry to say wasting, not really wasting...but losing myself in it) Good - I have yet to establish metrics for this parameter Better - Ditto Best - *sniff* Purgatory. Pure. And. Simple. -

I just don't know? The only way to know is to cut em out for a few days and see? ((hugs)) Don't be afraid of leafy greens and low glycemic veggies like broccoli and cauliflower and asparagus!! Eat salads with very low cal dressing. Eat a little avocado. How much are you eating per meal? Quantity (volume in a measuring cup). -

I'm not saying you live a joyless life. But please don't squander this time by being easy on yourself? Please don't. I wouldn't say anything if you were following your path and the weight was just flying off. But you are telling me, that weight loss is lagging. And I'm telling you, that now is the time to knuckle down and get the rest of it off. The last 20 lbs is brutal or at least in my experience in WLS. ((hugs)) Drop ANYTHING that doesn't facilitate your goal. You will have a lifetime in maintenance to cycle in "treats." -

I’ll try to post more tomorrow, but honestly? If you still require 1 shake + 1 bar in order to get ur protein, u r premature in doing IF. Right? But many have issues losing with protein bars. More later!! -

Ohhhhhh the stealthy BBL!!!! Of course! Mas pain! Mas pleasure "in the end." hehe I'm afraid I'm just gonna have to get a tat on my wrinkled bum as a qualifier to everyone, "Abandon all hope." bahaha! The one advantage to the girls recon, is that they are still standing up straight and proud only now they are really pretty "large and in charge" cuz the rest of me shrinky dinked while they did not. LOL. You will be brilliant with Mama! I've no doubt about it! Just remember to breathe and be yourself. She will love you!!! Woooohooo can NOT wait for a report! Well the vacays will come in time. Yay on weekend get aways!!! Wow on Iceland! Will you stay in an ice hotel and eat fermented shark and drink slivovitz (sp?). Why Iceland? Oh FYI, successful 20:4 IF completed, thankyouvermuch. -

Oh wow!!! So many great things happening for you (except lack of miles and points--hehe)!! Oh snap! Now I'm nervous for you about Mama's visit! You will do great obviously, but still--what a nail biter! Will eating your nails stop an IF? *snort* I love that it's beginning to feel "real" to you and that his friends have accepted you and are now assimilating you into their life. Assimilate!!!! What's a BBL? Breast and Bottle Lift? I'm betting it's a Breast and Brachioplasty Lift? I can tell you that I've had the double mastectomy and 3 reconstructions. They were so very very painful and exhausting. And took me by storm. It's taken years to be able to get to the point where I can exercise normally now. I know your experience will be quite a bit easier and more concise with 1 surgery, but you have a pretty good amount of edema in your chest area, back, side boobs, and arms. But yeah on the donor fat. That's muy importante!!! (Oh my on the thigh lift. I want one so bad. Never will happen though for many reasons. *sniff*) Girl! Your walking is off the chain fabulous!!!! I'm very impressed and it's so good for you! Get a cute purse so you can tuck cute shoes into it! Where is vaca? And will you travel with BF as your vaca boo? -

Yes. I am. That's why I continue to post these YT and articles. I know @GreenTealael is as well. I am interested in the autophagy and stem cell promotion. As well as the actuation of SIRTUAN gene activation along with the emerging science relative to longevity, aging, and reversal of certain diseases. -
Intermittent Fasting Daily Menu/Results/Accountability
FluffyChix replied to FluffyChix's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
I hope everyone will come back and answer!!! For me, I was at 8 months. That's when I started this thread. So you can go read about the journey. I had no issues getting all my fluids in, and no probs getting all my protein in from food. That's the key in my opinion. Wait till that is super easy. Wait till your losses from surgery are diminishing. Wait till hunger kicks up. Wait till you start eating more at meals (inappropriately). This is something you do "in addition to" your tool and making good po dietary and lifestyle choices. -

More food for IF thought. The guy is an MD and he treats his patients with a fasting and keto diet. And they make great points throughout, but listen around the 1:00mark. A very seminal point!! It's about the importance of sleep and how it affects cortisol and what cortisol does to insulin elevation (ie weight loss) and how long cortisol remains elevated as a result of a poor night's sleep. It makes you hungrier and you preferentially crave carbs and about eating late at night!!!!! Like billy badass carbs. It lasts for 2 days! Wooooo! WOW!!!! 😯 -
