  5. Watch this video and understand why you MUST build new ways of dealing with food. You must move beyond the myth of restriction and malabsorption for long term success.

    "I think you're overdoing it"

Transfer to anything is a bad thing. I think the key question to differentiate transfer or "new hobby" is to answer this question: "How's your head?" And by that I mean, do you allow yourself to "feel" and process emotions? Do you allow yourself the freedom to get mad, sad, angry, lonely, and tired and not try to stuff those feelings down when they surface? Or, when those emotions surface, do you try to displace them with busyness or activity (ie working out). I think the exercise by itself doesn't signal an issue, even when you are doing it every day. It doesn't signal a transferrance. As @GreenTealael said, it goes to motivation and only you can answer that. There are plenty of fabulous athletes now who were pre-surgical MO peeps. And they fell in love with the gym life and the strengthening and body building, fitness improvements. No harm in falling in love with health! As long as the motivation is good and as long as you allow yourself to process thoughts and emotions. And experience your anger, grieve through it and then dump the garbage bag on the curb and move through it. Life is too short to go through it pis*ed off. It only hurts us. ((hugs))

    Needing advice

I had a low grade fever on and off for about a week after surgery. It came up in the afternoons and would go down in the mornings. It was just a normal thing, but if you still feel bad, call the doc.
  9. foil packets and also parchment packets also. Google lots of foil packet or hobo packet recipes. Use thighs rather than breasts or use a whole bird and shred it then stew it in liquid. Cook beef (steaks) only to medium rare (I eat them rare) and slice thinly for easy to chew and digest beef.

    Dehydration this helps me

Ok, sorry but all magic comes with a price sweetie. I don't know if it's dangerous per se...but unless you're sick or a super athlete sweating buckets, most of us should NOT be jacking with our electrolytes. And we certainly shouldn't be using some kind of micellar cellular technology to jack with it. There are NO shortcuts. Drink your water hon...just drink. WE all have to do it. Don't try to game the system. You might end up in the ER with a heart issue. Electrolytes are serious mojo and most of our bodies are very well positioned to keep them balanced.

  14. Did you have an IV? If so, it's likely fluid from the IV, and it could also be fluid retention from your bladder issue and the meds they gave you. Don't freak. Deep breaths. Follow your plan. Sip sip sip. Walk walk walk!
