Oh wow! @Cheeseburgh shared this new tool on another thread and I thought it was so awesome, that I wanted to start a new thread where we can come do our tests and post them so we can keep track of our progress!! It's called the Smart Body Mass Index and is supposed to take into account your personal metrics. So go ahead, let's try it out and see if we think it's accurate! I love mine. Let's all post our reports! Here's the LINK!! Thanks for sharing the link Cheeseburgh!!!

Gosh that sounds fabulous! I'm gonna make it!!
-
Also, salsa and pico makes great dressing, as does a spoon of plain Greek yogurt with seasonings and a little vinegar.
-
OMG! What an answer to prayers!!! And YES! Maybe YOU and your team are just that good?!!!!! That's my vote!!! But I also think your mindset is phenomenal. And so inspiring. How you handled recovery was really like textbook perfect!
-
OMG! *notworthy* *notworthy* We are SOOO different! You had surgery 2 weeks ago and can handle nut butter. I had surgery 17 almost 18 months ago and "real" nut butter still gives me issues if my serving isn't tiny. I handle peanut butter powder fine though! Score! So I think it's a fat thing and then it leads to RH? Dunno. But at 3-4 weeks out, I still remember the horror of trying both peanut butter and almond butter. So glad it works for you!!!! Wooohooo!
-
I know! And I think it's awesome that we are all so different!
-
Congrats girlie!!! Wooot!!! You are doing this thing!!!
-
No of course there aren't as many, and many more are probably lurking. But I see it in the FB groups too. At least once per week, and that tells me it's bound to be a consideration. I think being at goal and struggling to keep your weight up has got to be scary. (Although I would love to experience that for about a week... ) And then to add to that a surgery that isn't only restrictive, but malabsorptive...Ring. Ring...Hello stress?? I'm gonna need a bigger boat...

Yay!!!! You rock the casbah woman! Thanks for so much inspiration, hope, and positivity!!!! ((hugs)) And the friendship and hand-holding!!
-
Well, I think you are doing something pretty awesome. Cuz others will be able to look at what you've done and be helped by it. Cuz all the time we read here about people needing a revision but are afraid to do it for fear of losing more weight! The struggle to maintain is real! ((hugs))

Don't judge...but I've trained myself to really love some of the Walden Farms zero cal dressings. Italian Vinaigrette Asian Vinaigrette Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette Balsamic Vinaigrette And I can spice up some so they are "ok": Thousand Island French Cocktail Sauce Bacon Ranch Blue Cheese Chipotle Ranch And if I add extra Bragg's vinegar, I like the Amazin' Mayo in both regular and chipotle. I also add more spices. The trade off is no extra calories for the moisture. Better living through chemistry...just sayin...

Yikes! Sorry for your struggles!!! Hopefully you will turn the corner soon and begin feeling better! Hang in there!

Ok, so it's time to get my bad self under control and quit grazing with tiny meals all day. Here's meal #1 today. I couldn't finish it. Yay!!! Love it when that happens! Egg Salad with Cottage Cheese -

Wow! Those are gorgeous!!! Did you make up this recipe?!!! Congrats!!! -
OH Lort! I thought you had escaped the melting candle old-lady ass outcome! You look round and bubbly! So well toned. How do you disguise that in your running shorts? Cuz I don't see a bit of it!!! But yeah, tums and boobs...sigh. You should totally do the plastics girl! Doesn't @BlueCrush look fabulous and smokin'?!!!!! Woot! Very inspiring pics for all of us with the baggy saggies.

Sorry, I meant as part of your daily macros. Are you targeting 35g of total carbs? Cuz if so, then your numbers don't add up. Net carbs = Total Carbs - Fiber Carbs (and you calculate macros based on total carbs. Sorry to geek out on you.
-
Well maybe this one will be 6lbs 7oz or 7lbs 6oz, both perfectly normal baby weights and will set her up for optimal health! The other weights were fabulous, but still on the larger side so the new research shows that may convey a tiny bit of added risk as an adult. But not like the mondo 10-12lb babies! Congrats on managing your pregnancies so well. You're gonna be a superstar. I hope other pg mommies come post for you to give you reassurance!!!

Congrats on your success and on reaching goal so quickly girlie!!!! No way! I knew nothing of it and would have loved to have been able to check in with it!! TY so much for sharing it. It has become my new toy in only a matter of minutes! I will hug it and squeeze it and call it George!
-
@GreenTealael Congrats on your inspiring success!!!! I know you are already at your goal, so I love that you are positioned for health and reduction of risky health events for the future!! You rock girl!!! Do you have a new goal after your revision surgery or is it remaining at 150? Any fitness goals?
-
Is this your reply? Or are you pointing out mine? I'd love to see your print-out. It prolly says: Congrats! You are a brick sh*thouse and power woman! Don't change a thing! (And btw, GREAT LEGS and booty!) And it would be signed: Hopelessly Devoted To You, SMBI

Congrats lady!!! Congrats on your amazing hard work and diligence!!! Woooot!!!! You are so close to your green area!!!! And I love the advice of doing small stepping stones. Throughout my WLS journey, I'd "set" a goal. But I actually only focused on a single decade. Cuz anything else always overwhelmed me and made me feel hopeless like I'd never achieve it. I knew exactly how many days it took me to get through a decade of weight. LOL!!! You got this girl!!!
-
Trust your docs and follow their plans to a T. We're all just opinionated shmos on the internet who like to give advice. LOL. Congrats on your pregnancy. IMHO, I agree. If your body couldn't handle the pregnancy, you would not still be pregnant. Most women lose their babies in the first 90 days without many knowing of their presence. So the other thing is that baby is gonna get nourishment from your body whether you want it to or not! And I don't believe if we have extra weight on us, that we have to gain weight during pregnancy. I just read of one woman on FB who had a healthy pregnancy and perfect baby and weighed 1lb less after delivery than on the day of conception. How cool is that? So just eat deeply healthy foods, to the amounts your docs want you to and relax and enjoy this healthier pregnancy. Try to keep C.R.A.P. out of your diet!!! Cuz what you put in now WILL affect the expression (epigenetics) of your baby's genes! Set her up to be healthy for life and come out with a normal birth weight!!!

Awesome! So what are your total carbs? You got this girl!!! Yes it's the free version of MFP. But @GreenTealael may be using a different one? I'm on a desktop for mine.
