Well, I am glad you said it! I am loyal to the brand and LOVE the shakes but the clear drink just makes me gag! I am working on this case I bought and no more! I am going to try the brand from Walmart that was suggested. Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app

Hey Berry Bear! I LOVE this thread and is a cute way to showcase what we are eating. That salmon looked tasty. I will post my breakfast plate in the morning. [emoji5] #GastricSleeveFoodie Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app -

I just had my my first salad a week ago and will be three months post op tomorrow. I was not a salad fanatic previously but ate them. OMG! I enjoyed it SO much. It took me two days to eat it but it was awesome! I had spring mix, baby kale greens, tomatoes, cucumber kalamata olives, pickled beets, banana peppers, bread and butter pickles, crispy onions, salad toppings, Bacon, cheese, crushed croutons, and Blue Cheese dressing. I get a couple of pieces of everything and cut it up onto the lettuce leaves. #StillAFoodie[emoji5] Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app

Amen, Jess! I came here for comrades who are on the same path and are serious about this life and changes we have to make. I am absorbing it all and adjusting to get where those who have made it to their goals are. #GastricGameChanger Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app -

Your Goals: What clothing size should you aim for?
MochaKelly replied to Berry78's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
One thing that I have found to be a huge no-no is not wearing clothes that fit. Buying items that are too big sets the stage for you to grow into them and skirts or pants that have a set waistband are unforgiving and sends the signal that weight is being gained. #MyPostWeighlossClothesWillFit #SpandexSendsFalseSignals Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app -

Protein Based Dessert and Snack Options

I LOVE that you weigh everything! I just received a thoughtful surprise of a scale from my spouse the other day. I have not been weighing anything because I never eat a full serving of anything. For instance, if a serving of raisins is 57 as you stated, I would only eat 20. I stay well below a serving of anything other than meats. #LearningCurve Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app -

I feel the same way. Ocean Spray has a lower sugar option. I use them for salads, especially chicken salad. I bought some to make chicken salad for my spouse next week. I am going to try a bite (no more than an ounce) to see how I fair. Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app -
Today, I purchased a small can of Corned Beef Hash. I am going to try poaching an egg for that. After this, that will be my final egg attempt for the month. Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app

You eat celery AND raisins?![emoji50][emoji50][emoji50][emoji50]Those are on the list of can't haves for WLS recipients, which floored me initially. Celery is off because it is fibrous and can clog the pouch and all dried fruits are off because of the sugar content and I LOVE prunes. Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app -

I have had them in a veggie scramble with cheese and I couldn't stand it. I could smell the eggs and the taste was just... BLAH! Maybe I will try a mini frittata next month. I tried to have a shrimp deviled egg last night and yuck. I couldn't finish. Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app

I am afraid to eat nuts. What type of nuts did you try first. I know I probably won't try luncheon meat. The thought of the salt content is nauseating. True Story: I can honestly say that I have severed all ties with one of my oldest and dearest friends, Little Debbie Snack Cakes. The sight and smell SEVERELY nauseates me. I couldn't believe it when it happened! We were just talking about them and it was like I could taste them !I began to dry heave initially, then splat!I lost my lunch. #RIPSwissCakeRollsAndOatmealPies [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] #TrashCanMemorialServices Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app -

I am so anal about this pouch. It is like I am a new mother.lol I nibble. I REFUSE to stretch my pouch out trying to eat the way that I used to.
