    I wait the full 30 minutes post eating and I drink something. Then, I feel like I have to vomit. This is not happening all the time, but most of it. I'm also struggling to get my protein in. I'm about 7 weeks out. I thought it would get easier.

    Thank you all for the suggestions. Waiting an hour seems to be working a lot better. I don't know why my surgeon's office said half an hour. I really appreciate the support. I was at my wit's end. So sick of throwing up.

    Thank you all for sharing these 'pearls of wisdom.' I thought I was the only one surrounded by idiots, but unfortunately I am not. This is no quick fix. This is not the easy way out. We are not undisciplined or just need to stop eating French fries. I know people may mean well, but sometimes, they really put their foots in their mouths. I really appreciate the honesty here. I'm new and well, it's good to see that I have people to relate to.
