    July sleever August out

Congrats! I am five weeks out, and new goals! I started the Gym this week and a full and "real" meal prep! Let me tell you - i'm in a little slump because of a stall, but I keep reading positive vibes from everyone on this forum and it's making me push through. It WILL get better!!

    When does hunger return?

that's so crazy how every doctor and every program is a bit different but we all are working towards the same results. I started a blended diet the 2nd weeks out, if i was comfortable, but i wasn't ready yet - and 3rd and now 4th week incorporating yogurt, apple sauce, and protein shakes in. i'm going in for my month checkup to review next steps in meal planning and nutrition. keep up the great work!!

    Biotin for hair loss?

HI Guys! I did a lot of research on biotin and collagen pre op. I started taking these supplements before i got surgery, anticipating the hairloss...my hair grew like crazy, and i'm hoping it will not be so bad. But definately, the collagen helps a lot with skin as well.

    When does hunger return?

I feel the same way! I had my sleeve done 3 days before yours! The only thing i'm feeling is the want to chew on something crunchy! I don't actually get hungry but i am back at work now, and so used to a schedule from the first week on drinking, it's become a habit, to drink. I feel like my sleeve tells me when i need to sip on water, and my body tells me when i need to sip on broth. I'm having trouble with the mushy stuff. my tastebuds are still all messed up too. Are you feeling this way as well?

    One year flies by...

I am doing my best to stay positive. I am on my 4th week out and everyday is just getting better and better. Weightloss has slowed down a little, but inches are coming off. Thanks for your inspiring story! I am soaking up every moment of this!
