PCOS LADIES Getting pregnant post op

Losing weight will help. -
I used Chantex exactly as prescribed. That meant a lot of side effects, but I stuck it out for eleven weeks. It's a miraculous drug to me. Heavy smoker for years, turned completely non smoker. Have never craved one once. That was 12 years ago.

What is a non-food activity your REALLY looking forward to?
Nancy MBGC replied to celticNgel's topic in The Gals' Room
Looking forward to wearing a dress, not worrying about airline seats, just getting around easier, not feeling self conscious about my size, and overall just feeling better[emoji5] -
This liquid diet is killing me
Nancy MBGC replied to theresa_86's topic in Pre-op Diets and Questions
My preop has no guide on how many carbs or calories. Instead it has a list of foods allowable, none of which could cause the diet to be too carby or caloric. -

Please help me out here. I have a lack of understanding about "cream soup". Does that mean like a can of tomato soup made with milk? Does it mean black bean soup that has been puréed! What about pea soup or broccoli cheese soup that has been puréed?
-
My surgeon made it clear no milk or cream in the soup. Creamed equals puréed.
-
Can anyone give me a comprehensive list of what foods are slider ones? I know that ice cream is, but what about puréed food like soup and mashed potatoes etc... My understanding is that you may still feel hungry eating slider foods and that you won't really be able to recognize your pouch fullness until you're eating more solid foods like meat etc.

Type in Gastric Sleeve Recipes on Pinterest. It's on the left hand side of first page.

Ok my surgeon sent diet info. Soups are Healthy Choice or low fat.

Traveling after surgery
Nancy MBGC replied to Staci1211's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
You will need to buy some food most likely at a food store to put in your mini fridge. You'll find the Parks and the hotels have almost nothing for you to consume. Sorry. -

Who will be sleeved in October?!???

I will address your concerns separately . 1. Be in charge of your body. Tell your spouse that his behavior is selfish and immature. Sounds like he is worried about your emerging attractiveness. Couples therapy might help. 2. Tell friends that you're sure that they mean well, but that your body is not up for discussion. 3. This one is easy. Find a good seamstress that can alter your clothing once you are at the end of your loss. I've done it. Costs a bit but not as much as replacement. 4. You will feel sexier when you gain confidence and love yourself more. Overall, you are your biggest cheerleader. This will be true in your life no matter what the situation. You're doing a great job. Don't let others rain on your parade. If your spouse loves you he will support you. If he doesn't then....

Full Fat Mayo, cottage cheese, and yogurt
Nancy MBGC replied to Nancy MBGC's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It's amazing that you have found nutritionists that don't give you a hard time about low carb/high fat/high protein. I've known many NUTS working in hospitals and most are dead set against it. -
I've done a little research on the Fobi Ring. Its purpose is to help you later not to gain weight back. Has anyone had their Dr suggest it or does anyone sleeved have it? Inquiring minds want to know.
-
My surgeon said that there is no difference in rate of weight loss between bypass and sleeve. Though I said bypass, he recommended the sleeve instead due to the amount of dumping experienced with the bypass. Forget the lapband. For many reasons, which you can read about on this site, it absolutely not the way to go. The incidence of revisions alone speak to that.

Ok then what bought types and brands did you find to be most tasty when blended? I'm not much of a canned soup lover. I could use some help on this subject. Thanks

It essentially is removed. It's growth lies in the removed portion of the abdomen. This is only true with gastric sleeved patients.
