That's what I heard as well that u have to follow your diet very strictly so this won't happen to u....I just had surgery yesterday so I'm hoping I don't lose to much hair it's already thin as it is[emoji30]

That sucks! My surgeon found mine when he did my endoscopy and he said they were common in about 85% of patient....he fixed mine when he did the surgery which is causing me a liiiittle but more pain in the center which is actually the only incision that's uncomfortable but I hope your surgeon gets u in to fix it asap so you can be on your way to a better recovery....good luck![emoji173]️

Yes get it! Congrats! I think cause I've been sleeping all day mostly is why I'm up at 3 am right now lol.... but my left arm is pretty beat up too because they had to do more blood drawn when I got here and then my IV but it's worth it! And I'm 22 so we're both young and hopefully our bodies heal up nice! Good luck on your journey! [emoji173]️

Had my surgery at 1:30pm and my surgeon said I did amazing! The lord had is hand on me! I was scared a little bit but the anesthesiologist gave me something to calm my nerves. I had the chills and a lot of back pain due to the gas but I was able to get up and walk around the first hour I was back in my room and go pee without any help lol (TMI) but I can't wait for this journey to a new and healthy lifestyle! Pre-op diet going well so far! I started Tuesday 8/10 and have lost 2 pounds already! I couldn't believe It i literally got on the scale 3 time just to make sure[emoji23] I'm keeping my calorie intake no higher than 750. And I am still working out just not as intense. I usually do about 4 miles at the gym but I'm keeping it at 2 just because I get light headed and don't want to pass out lol but I'm still doing my leg workouts and arms and stomach just not as intense. Even though my doctor said I didn't really need to do the liquid diet only the day before surgery, I thought wth might as well get my body and mind adjusted to it now so it's a little prepared for after surgery!

Girl stop with all that we're all getting this surgery done to lose weight. And your acting like I'm an everyday all day or every weekend pot smoker well I'm not. I took a couple of hits over the weekend and that was that. I wasn't drinking it up and smoking packs of cigarettes or smoking blunt after blunt on end. I'm simply asking a yes or no question when it comes down to it[emoji849]

Thank you! I think they read it as I'm a continuos weed smoker which I'm not I took a couple hits over the weekend and that was that. If they found THC in my system from when I first went and did a UTS then that was from months ago. The doctor asked if I drank alcohol and smoked cigarettes and I said no because I do neither. I was just simply asking a question I'm sure most people want to know and they all attacked lol

Actually I didn't stop smoking weed to pass a drug test I stoped smoking because I was starting to break out a little. And I am very serious about this surgery. I don't smoke weed every day or need it function or die without I smoke it rarely and I took a few hits of a joint I don't smoke one all to myself. And I'm probably one of the few people on here that are athletic and getting this surgery to lose the stubborn weight that isn't coming off easily anymore. I know what your thinking. Smoking weed and getting the munchies. I don't go pig out after I get high like you I'm sure think most people do. So go take your rude comment elsewhere[emoji849]

My surgery is Friday and I smoked weed yesterday for the first time in almost 3 weeks....should I tell my doctor when I go in?

I started my liquid diet today! I had my endoscopy yesterday and the doctor said I didn't need to do a liquid diet really except for 2 days before surgery but he told me if I wanted to to start today I could so I'm just doing it to prep myself for after surgery but it's going good so far! And why not wanna lose a few pounds before surgery anyways [emoji39]
