My first day on soft solids was not so good. I've been waiting all day to eat do real food because I've been at the hospital making sure I didnt have a blood clot. I had beef and broccoli that I made sure it was easy to chew to applesauce consistency. I notice I was full because it kept feeling like it was getting stuck in my chest. During the 30 minutes I was waiting before drinking it kept feeling like something was stuck in my chest or throat and it was hurting. Once time was up I tried to drink something thinking it will go away or the food will go down and no it came the other way. So just say my first day of soft food was a failure. Any help to get through this phase where should be appreciated.

That's great I'm 4 weeks out but I'm only 12lb down from a week ago I said I'm nite going to get on the scale for a while it can be discouraging.

Ok, thanks for your suggestion I thought it was pretty soft but maybe not good enough. I was looking at a list. I'll be doing tomorrow

I just got in this morning from Tj and it was ok. Moving as much as possible my flight was a total of 5 hrs. I did use a wheelchair for the connecting flight because it was so far way and i had no companion. So i knew they could get me there faster then me walking. Also, make sure your first to board it's hard to rush when many people are bumping you. Just inform attendants when you reach the gate.

I'm 4 days out and so far just switching liquids as been good for me. Though water is the best i can't drink plain water unless really cold. I was told you can use the crystal light packets.

I was sleeved on 7/29 in Mexico. I'm doing really well just a little sore which is expected. I haven't got on a scale but i know I'm still holding water weight from surgery so nerves to see. Can't wait to get off of clear liquid.

I'm going to Tijuana, mexico on July 28th at MBC and can't wait.

Im going on my last week also abd haven't lost any weight. I have been firm on this but nothing it can become depressing. It will be over soon you can do it
