Hello Globally Yours and everyone else I am getting real excited and nervous, I go in to get my band next Monday, May 5th. Went in for my pre-op stuff last week and all went well. I am having my band put in at Norton's Hosp. downtown. I think I am ready, I've got stuff to drink for the next two weeks, and a my Mom is keeping my little girl for the first four days, so I hope that I haven't forgotten anything. Hi, Pen I too use Unjury.com. I use the vanilla, chocolate and chicken soup. It is all good. You can check with your surgeons office, some of them sell it right in the office. Good luck. Bandedgirl08

Hi, Jennifer I too am going in on the 5th. I was originally scheduled to go in on April 3rd, but got a really nasty cold and had to re-schedule, so her I am. I am so ready to get started with my new tool to a healthier me. Good luck on your surgery also.

Hello agian, Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Things all went crazy at the time of my surgery. I got really sick with congestion and my Mom caught it and my little one came down with a sinus infection, so I decided to put off my original surgery date. Things are looking up and now I am re-scheduled to have it on May 5th. Did you have yours yet? Hope all is well with you. I will keep an eye out for your reply and get back to you asap. Hi Beastbron I too am scared, but If we had our doctors give us a report on the dangers of living another day at our size I am sure they could print out a ten page report on the compications from that. I think it may even be more scary to try nothing. I am going in for my surgery on April 3rd and getting more scared by the day, But I know I have to do this. I know it's going to be the best thing I ever did for myself. Good luck!

Hi, there I would love to keep in touch with you, it helps to have someone local to talk with. I think you made the right choice to go with CMH. I have talked with a lady named Kristy who works there and was one of the first to be baneded through the new bariatric unit and she is very happy with everything. Caroline, who heads the support group there seems to be very nice also. Have you gone to any of the supprt group meetings there yet? I go to a group at Norton's every 2nd Tuesday of the month and it has helped to be able to sit in for the past 6 months. I feel more confident and have a more realistic view of what is going to happen after the surgery. I only have to go on a liquid diet the day before surgery. It really depends on the doctor and guess mine says one day, so that is what I'm going with. Well, have a great day and I'll check in later.

Hi there, I am not using Clark co. but I live in Jeff. Due to insurance I had to use a center of excellence and Clark co. was still to young of a bariactric center for me to use. I am going through Norton's in downtown Louisville. I go in on April 3rd to have my surgery. I'm feeling happy and a little scared all at the same time.
