I've been feeling down for about a week now because I haven't been really losing much during my second week post op. I've been walking and getting as much liquid in as I can but I can't quite get in all 80g of protein. Aside from that, anything I swallow causes really sharp pains in my stomach and esophagus so it makes me not want to eat anything but popsicles all day. The pains just become too much that I'll just have to lay down until they pass or everything comes back up. I'm really just discouraged at the moment and waiting for things to get better.

My issue was that after every time I swallowed anything I'd get an instant gas pain in my stomach and it was very uncomfortable and this was even a week after surgery. But I would take gas X to help relieve that feeling after I ate

Same thing with me, I hated that gas feeling because it was after I ate or drank anything even if it was the smallest sip. I had my 1 week post op follow up today and brought this up to my doctor and he said that the strong gas feeling is normal and it happens to a lot of people. As the week goes on it gets less and less but warmer liquids like tea and broth and also walking helped me.

I was sleeved last friday and after day one I immediately regretted the decision because I was feeling the same exact way you are. I'm sorry that you have to feel this way but it will get better! By day 4 and on, I have felt so much better. And Eating and drinking isn't so miserable for me anymore! Feel better

How do you guys space out when to take vitamins? I just started taking my vitamins this morning and after two I felt sick? I want to space them out so I don't have to feel that sick feeling.

Hey everyone, I just had the procedure two days ago and this gassy feeling hurts so bad. I hear about GasX strips but I cannot find them anywhere so if anyone knows where to get them please tell me and also how long until this sharp gassy pain goes away??
