Hi there!.....a little about myself...I had the band for almost 12 years....my weight went down to my goal of 150 lbs...unfortunately my Band stopped working 5 years ago and my weight went up too 231....my Med Insurance denied me coverage to exchange band to Sleeve (BMI no high enough and have no Chronic illness)...anyway... I end up going to Juarez in Chihuahua (Mexico)..And got my "Band to Vertical Sleeve" revision on July 7th, 2017 ....stayed in Juarez, Mexico from a Thursday to Sunday (great service)...i had no pain or nausea while at the Hospital..and my pain has been well controlled with Tylenol while at home...my biggest problem has been the "extreme fatigue"....have been able to get my 60-80 grams protein a day...but I think I'm behind in fluid intake...I will b staking 2 weeks from work....i work in an outpatient clinic...so I believe it will be 💯% by time I return to work...today is my 10th day post surgery and so far is been good...(aside from sleeping all the time)..I am trilled to have found this site. It is full of great information and success stories...it keeps me focus and hopeful that i will be one the success stories in he future....:)
