after surgery 09/12/17 tuesday
Coffeelark replied to binocjohn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had mine on 12th too. Walking, even rocking in rocking chair help with gas pain. I use a warm pack on my abdomen and shoulders, it helps gas dissipate. I used a glycerine suppository, it helped me pass some gas. TMI. Rest some, but walk more. Water, water, water...in small sips. -

Depression & Anxiety medication
Coffeelark replied to Misskar's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Thanks. I sure understand not wanting to change meds that are working well. Glad to hear i might not be off my meds long. I was afraid of maybe bad withdrawal or seizures from suddenly stopping these meds. Keep in touch folks, ok? -

Two days of clears is AWFUL
Coffeelark replied to Walter.Sobchak's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I've been dreading the liquid pre-op diet so much that I started it 2 days early so I could just get on with it and stop the anxiety/dread. About to end day 2, which was way easier than day 1. I don't dread the surgery or fluids after when my stomach will be smaller and sore. I almost backed out, I had gotten so worked up dreading this part.
