August Sleevers-How are you doing??
KimmerAnn replied to Ash_Bri85's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Maybe you should journal - in case you don't drop it maybe they can help figure out why!? I know this may be the wrong way to think but i don't want to journal. I was just hoping that I could live like a normal person after I got the surgery. And not have to count calories and not have to journal and not have to stress about all of the stuff! I guess that's just not realistic. -

I was stuck at same weight for over 10 days. It's a bummer!! I just kept believing I was doing the right things and it would happen. And today ( which is my four week anniversary) I lost another pound. I'd love more but thrilled to see the scale move again. It will for you too- hang in there! -

I like your attitude @fight! I keep telling myself this will work but with a day 10 stall it's easy to feel bummed. Then I try to snap out of it and just look forward to what's going to come (hopefully!!) -

I'm sorry! I hope you feel better soon and enjoy your holiday. I still get really nauseous after drinking water for some reason. And nauseous after drinking protein shakes. But I can drink Crystal light and ice tea with no problems. And eat real food with no problems. Even though I'm not supposed to eat solids yet-I kinda moved onto them because I couldn't handle that nauseous feeling anymore. -

Ps. My surgeon said you can drink before you eat but wait thirty minutes after you eat. I had the same concern and it was really hard for me to get my liquids in. She told me this last week and it's helped a lot. -

My surgeon said 600-800 and I'm almost four weeks out. I'm bummed cuz I am hungry. Every three hours or so i eat. My DR said that's ok but I'm jealous of you that aren't hungry!! I don't have cravings and I only eat three small "meals" and maybe one or two snacks. But my tummy grumbles after three hours and wants me to eat. I've been stalled for 10 days now and trying not to let it get me down. Buttttt it kind of is. I just started swimming. About 30 minutes a day the past two days- so I'm hopeful continuing that will finally get the scale to move good luck everyone -

Wow Jeaniered - good job! Mom on my fourth week and feel much better. I didn't walk the first week. I was so tired and weak. I walked to the bathroom. Second week I waked more. Outside a bit but only about five minutes a few times a day. I had terrible shoulder pain from gas. It was awful!!! That was the worst part but itwent away end of second week- so hang in there I'm hungry often! I eat a bit about every three hours. Dr said that's ok so that made me feel better. I've only lost 18 pounds since surgery, the first two weeks. And nothing since - in fact I've gained two. Buttttt trying to believe it's the third week stall and will kick in again soon good luck everyone!! -
Stalled weight loss at three weeks post op

I stalled at three weeks too! I was super bummed!! I still am lol. Today is the first day of my fourth week and I I havent lost anything in 7 days. I just had my post op today and DR said my weight loss is good ( 18 pounds since August 16) I'm hungry about every three hours but she said that was ok - as long as I stay within 600-800 calories. I was just expecting to lose steadily for the first few months. Ugh!! I guess all we can do is hang in there -

I was sleeved aug 16 and I'm able to eat and drink with no issue. Worries me a little bit!! I did have pain the first week and couldn't eat or drink. But after about day 15 I stopped losing and felt hungry all the time! I can only eat a few bites but in a couple hours in hungry again. It's just all so weird and I hope it works!! -

Ready4theday- it's been hard getting protein in. I'm on day five and have barely been able to finish one shake a day (30 grams in each- premiere protein) but today I've already had 5 ounces.... Soooo maybe it's going to go down easier from here on out. Thanks for sharing that protein in key for sagging skin. I didn't know that. I'm always curious why protein is soooo important. When is your surgery!? Good luck !!!!
