    Panicking... I went to my doctor for my a1c check and I have gained 2 pounds... I have to go in 8 days to get my weight checked and taught the preop stuff and do my preop testing... If i have gained weight when I go he will reschedule my surgery

    4 weeks away!!!! I am suddenly nervous... Mostly about the pre op diet. The idea of 4 shakes and sugar free liquid for days and days is scary. the first part of mine is basically what I am doing now but week 2...

      It's no fun and it's hard. Very hard. But it's temporary, and you can do this. Take it a day at a time.

      Try not to think about it too much. It comes and it goes. Almost 14 months out and I want to laugh at myself for how much I was in my head about it. You can do anything you put your mind to...especially when there is an end in sight.
