Hi Chelle, After six long months you finally are seeing progress. Congratulations! I wish you continued success!

I think I saw a link about this the other day: 3. Be selective Selective editing is a good way to avoid engaging with your opponent's better arguments. Simply delete that intelligent, pointed question which ends paragraph three and reply instead to the weaker arguments beneath. Should your opponent post something like "I'm sorry but you're talking crap", snip everything but the first two words then graciously accept his apology. 7. One step ahead Pre-empt all replies. Tell your opponent that you know exactly how he or she is going to respond to your message because you've seen it all before. List all potential counter-arguments to your position and invite your opponent to choose one.

Jack Nicholson in "A few good men" had the correct answer for this group: "You can't handle the truth!"
-
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day in the neighborhood....
-
The same thing I always say: The truth.
-
I guess we will see.......

You might get a message that looks like this: Thank you for contacting Dr. Kuri and Associates. We've received your message and will respond as soon as possible. If your request is urgent and you would like speak with us right away, please call our toll-free number, 1-888-223-4046. We appreciate your comments and look forward to speaking with you.

You will get non-answer answers.

I think the funniest thing is that her profile was modified every time another lie was proven about her.
-
One thing that I noted long ago was the rate of complications among her followers. After all, sudden and unexplained restriction is what INAMED told me was the number 1 sign of a slipped Lap-Band.
-
Not just Dr. Neal. His staff, including Michelle and Peggy have the same memories.

Pedro Kuri, M.D. Blvd Agua Caliente 1844 - 301 Tijuana, B.C. Phone: (888) 223-4046 Fax: 011-52664-634-0679 Lap Band Surgery - Dr. Kuri & Associates Dr_Kuri : Dr_Kuri Why resist temptation?
-
Well, you know what they say, giving in to temptation is FUN!
-
Say, did you ever see this post? LAP-BAND® System Forum Compare the post to what Dr. Neals office manager said to me when I contacted them about this.
-
Well, if I found out that my surgeon employed former Nurses whose licenses were revoked in 2 different states, I would cancel my surgery too!
-
Well, all Dr. Kuri would have to do is read this thread to understand who his "Patient Educator" really is. Or he could just pick up the telephone and call Dr. Neal.
-
I understand completely. Well, as they used to say: "The truth is out there"
-
Oh, I'm quite certain that some Kuri patients will have questions for him about this eventually.
-
There are some statements that are so perfect and true that one simply cannot add anything to them.
-
That's true. Of course, since my last post reveals the truth about SandyR, you could always just PM them a link to it. When Sandy began this stuff, Angela, whose hobby is mental conditions, sent me this link: Narcissistic personality disorder - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I thought this part of the article was interesting: "Diagnostic criteria At least five of the following are necessary for a diagnosis (as with many DSM diagnoses, they must form a pervasive pattern; for example, a person who shows these criteria only in one or two relationships or situations would not properly be diagnosed with NPD): has a grandiose sense of self-importance is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by other special people requires excessive admiration strong sense of entitlement takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends lacks empathy is often envious or believes others are envious of him or her arrogant behavior"
-
So do I. Here's the PM that SandyR was sending around on oh.com: ********************************************************** SandyR wrote: Dear, yes, i know Dr Neal very well, and know and work with several of his patients and know several people in the office. Dr Kuri and I gave fills and fluoros with Dr Neal at his office last year. Wendell is just not being truthful. Dr Neal does NOT approve of mutliple protein drinks a day, and is very worried about Wendell's lack of progress. , Wendell has not been in for more than 9 monhts, has most nothing at all for more than a year, and is just giving terrible advice. Some people have been badly hurt by it. I know it seems that we are trying to be mean to him, but we know how deceptive he is being., and it is hurting people who try to follow him. He is not doing well at all, and is far from a "healthy, active person." He isn't being serious about his health or weight loss at all, and is at very high risk of many serious problems. he already VERY nearly died from some of them. The best to you - really. Sandy r ************************************************************** And here is what Peggy Moore from Dr. Neal's office wrote to me about this: *************************************************** Dear Wendell, I do not want you to think we are ignoring this situation. We have been very concerned about this. Sandy Richards has not been to this office to my knowledge and has not ever been employed, volunteer or otherwise in this practice. I can tell you without reservation that Dr. Neal would never speak to anyone about a patient in his practice. Period. Last year, specifically February 17, 2006, (not 2007), our own band fill nurse did fills for some Dr. Kuri patients, with Dr. Kuri observing. (Dr. Kuri does not have US medical privileges.) At no time was there ever another assistant or nurse in the room. This was done in conjunction with the 2006 Seattle Bandster Bash. Furthermore, since I met Sandy Richards once at the 2005 Seattle Bash, I can personally tell you that she was not even here on February 17, 2006, the date that she is claiming to have helped Dr. Kuri give “fills and fluoro with Dr. Neal at his office last year”. I will be contacting Sandy Richards directly and attempt to correct this misconception. Wendell, please know that we strictly follow HIPAA rules and guidelines and have never disclosed patients’ medical histories without their written consent. Sincerely, Peggy Moore, CMA (read and approved by Dr. Neal) Clinic Administrator Pacific Surgical Weight Loss Center, PLLC ************************************************************+

Are you attempting to incite me to post that PM that Sandy was circulatiing about me? You probably want me to post the letter that my Doctor wrote to me in response also. :heh:

Well, I did a little research and came up with the Wikipedia entry for Narcissistic Personality Disorder. It sure seemed to fit some folks there.

Yeesh! Better to avoid it then. Back in the day I used to drink double Black Russians with 2 shots of Bailey's, blended with ice. The Bailey's *helped* to tone down the Black Russians. One advantage to that drink is it doesn't take many to have an effect.
