I am also 3 days post opp, and finally out of the pain and nausea that was very relevant the gas and stomach spasms. I'm going home today and I am on full liquids as soon as I leave. For me, the pain was more or less what I expected but it hasn't been easy. I was forcing myself to walk 8-10 laps around the unit day 1. I can't wait to see how my shake is going to go down. Cross fingers. I'm not tolerating geliten jello. Water and diluted juice has been ok. Today I am feeling better and can actually say the worst is over. I'm looking forward to the new me! 2nd day of preop diet and I am not hungry at all. I had 2 shakes so far at 5pm. I'm not craving food too bad.. I'm ready for Aug 9 to come already!
