  1. Just follow what your dr tells you and it will be rough at first but well worth it. I feel so much better. Everyone's body is different. I did lots of reaserch. I hope I do not get belittled on here anymore. We are supposed to encourage and uplift. I am now in week 12 and have lost almost 80 lbs and i feel great!  I had the divided RNY. Inhad amazing drs!

  2. I have eaten a coulle things that were sweet just trying to see what happened. I have had some issues with not having a regular bowel movement cause RNY do not get enough fiber so I was on purpose trying to produce dumping syndrome and instead i felt like i had the flue nausea, sweating, fatigue, it finally went away. The best thing i ever did was go to whole food after trying many different things and get probiotics and now everythings greats!  i stick to the strict diet. but its been ok so far. ive had some pretty mean people make fun of me on here. but i wish you the best of luck!

    Exciting journey

A gastric sleeve is different from a Divided RNY. A gastric sleeve still maintains the body's normal functions with a different stomach. I've talked to several bariatric specialist and everything I Am doing is all normal. Sometimes you can't feel the fullness in your pouch and you throw up because 2 tablespoons of something over filled it. Trust me I am a researching health nut. I had other complicated issues that had nothing to do with food addictions the reason I was overweight .

    Exciting journey

It is actually very common to throw up a lot. your body is adjusting. i had my surgery done at the number bariatric facility in the nation. i had excellent care and support. i have had follow up exams and ct scans and everything is right as rain. i have close to fifty friends who have done this with all different doctors and states and they all went through the throwing up stages. sometimes spices or stuff you used to eat that you can eat will still upset your stomach. it even says when you start introducing new foods that if it makes you sick try again later on. I have done extensive research and had a ton of prep classes.

    Had Surgery on Monday

i walked around five or miles a day i traveled with mine and the walking did my body a world of good. i had no pain after the first day.
  13. Hi. The sleeve usually has a two year success rate. The RNY a ten year sucess rate. I did the divided RNY. for maximum weightloss. It causes malabsorption. With the sleeve you domt have to take the vitamins like in the RNY be ause they are just cutting off your stomach and leaving a bananna size one but still has proper functions.

From 4 different surgeons and researching online. Either surgery its not a quick fix. Its a tool. its still hard work. Also I have some friends who have had the sleeve and within 4 years they were back to their original weight. I am a research nut. The info is out there....

Also most cases the sleeve walls do not stay and the stomach stretches back out. I went to the number one bariatric facility in the nation. They have to be that for a reason. With the sleeve yes you take vitamins but not anything like you do eith havung the duvuded RNY. Everyones different. No ones body is the same.
