    Pleasantly Surprised - Warning...Positive Blog Entry !!

I love your report also! It is reassuring to me as my surgery is coming up the 19th. I am in my 60s-and am determined to get through this for me. It has been a looooong haul with the ups and downs of loss and gain.

  3. I wonder if people have a hard time sleeping after the sleeve operation?

I did, because I am a "side sleeper" but was too sore to turn on my sides, so had to sleep on my back for several days.

I did as well, I am a side and belly sleeper and had the VSG, Dr took a liver biopsy as well as some of my stomach and so I was HURTING on both sides and basically flip flopped all night. I was taking a dose and a half of Percocet as well as Ambien CR to fall asleep and it just was not happening. My recliner became my best friend during this phase!
