Hey everyone Just a question I am almost 4 weeks post op and had lots to do today and didn't have time to eat or drink until 2 pm . I know it's bad but At about 12 pm I had really bad reflux ? Is this normal or does this mean I will be having issues like this forever ? So far until today I only had issues pre op and when I had my lap band ?

Yes I've had nerve pain as well on right thigh it gets really warm and hurts And itchy and freaked me out at first Apparently it can happen but I was told it takes a few Months to improve I think you can take medication for It but I haven't bothered

Yep I also watch my 600 lb life and did when I was in hospital post op . It kept me motivated ! I love the Dr on it . Is it Dr Nowzarden ? He is straight to the point and doesn't put up with any bs haha Does anyone know anyone from that show

Hey thanks heaps for that info ! It makes a lot of sense ! I don't know if my surgeon left any of the old stomach behind ? I'll have to ask him when I go to my next appointment ! Loose stools Are getting better thankfully and thanks for that I feel much less Anxious now and won't be so stressed about having to go back to work and running for the bathroom

Ahh ok sorry thought you went from band to sleeve like I did Yes I'm having trouble eating slowly and also not drinking with meals and waiting the 1/2 am hour ! Because mine was from band to sleeve I had more scar tissue and the operation was longer so I took longer to recover . I have had diarrhoea since the first day and gurgling on my left side under my rib . I have also been hospitalised for dehydration and low blood pressure which was a week ago . Also had one of my sites infected and needed to go on antibiotics so yeah it's been a bit of a challenge so far . I have another week off from work as I still feel low in energy and need to get a handle on my hydration and eating schedule . Can I be cheeky and ask How much weight you have lost ? I have lost 15 kilos so far but stayed at 134 kilos so a long long way to go

Hey Erica I Also went from band to sleeve it's only been 3 weeks and I've had a few issues but have lost 15 kilos so far . How have you been ? Are you much happier with the sleeve than the band ?

Hey everyone Sorry it's a tmi post but I'm 3 weeks post sleeve surgery and I've been having loud gurgling noises in my upper chest on the left side and loose bowel motions ? None can tell me what it is and I'm Worrying ! I thought it was lactose intolerance but I've been off dairy for a weeks now and I still have it ? Is this normal ? I'm taking a probiotic and some Reflux meds ? Just don't now what to do about it as it happens with a variety of food etc baked beans, ricotta bake, tuna, cordial ? I have no idea why and I am due to return to work in a week and don't want to have to run to the bathroom all the time ! Thanks

Hey all I just had my sleeve done last Wednesday and all went well . I have only returned home and hubby isn't being that nice to me ! We have had our problems in the past but had some marriage counselling and all was seeming well but now I have come home to Recuperate and he is being antagonistic ! I can't stand to be in the same room as him or even look at him ! I feel like I have changed ? Is this normal at all ? Has anyone else experienced this feeling post surgery to their other half ? Or maybe it's me just being stupid ? I do feel a bit down and also feel like I can't drink much and am having issues keeping my protein intake up . Any advice appreciated
