someone please tell me where to begin to get back on track. i've fallen and can't find my way back. i was banded 9/30/05 and only lost a grand total of 45 lbs. i've since gained back 14 in the last 5 months. my last unfill was 8/08 (yes unfill i was too tight) at that time, the small unfill felt and turn out to be a total unfill. i have not been back since. i want to start ANEW and get back on track and really commit. is it too late for me, do you think my band still works?? any advice would be very appreciated. TRULY DISAPPOINTED.

Hi Wendell, first i want to say you look great. I haven't had a fill since 8/08 - my question is a crazy one. Does my band still work, can i go an get a fill or is the band (broke):-). Do you think i should get checked under furo to make sure everything is okay??

I thought it was just me, I feel tight in the throat sometimes since my last fill and I've had reflux. I started taking Zantex and it seems to work.

God, it's been rough out there alone. I've gained 17 lbs since i had my fill taken down from 1.85 to 1.4 in 9/07. Had a fill on monday and i'm back up to 1.8. I'm going to make my band work for me this time - i know I have to work with it in order for it to work with me. Well just want to say Hello and glad to be home:thumbup:

Karen - I'm so sorry they turned you down. Appeal away!! I had a BMI of 39-40 when my doctor first suggested WLS. By the time I turned in my paperwork my BMI was 41 - and by approval 43. Hang in there and keep the faith. Take care

OMG, I did forget my 6th month anniversary - it was 3/30/06. Time flys when you're banded. I'm so happy i'm in my first LBT Boot Camp - i need to jump start my losing again. so far i'm down 2 lbs - but will officially post it next monday. take care everyone and good luck.

Count me in, this is my first boot camp and i'm excited. I think I'll do the same as Shoresexy and put the dates in my signature. Oh yeah, my start weight is 256.

Shanna - so sorry for your band loss - but on the flip side very happy that you were able to lose the amount of weight you did. Try to think of that when you get really sad - that it wasn't in vain. Take care

I hear you, the same thing happen to me when I got greedy with my fill. I was up all night, couldn't keep any food down. I was not a happy camper. 7 days later I had a unfill and haven't experienced the same problem since. Moral of the story is Be Careful What You Ask For (and don't be greedy)
