Surgeons who won't set a goal?

My surgeon asked me my goal and then together we agreed on a more realistic. My original goal he felt was to drastic for my Height and build. He does not believe everyone 5'5" should by 135 for example.

    Eating meals

No decrease in the amount it's been like that since they introduced eggs. Yogurt and cottage cheese are fine and I measure out around 3 ounces for those. I feel like I'm a being paranoid but really don't know.

    Social Drinking?

my nutritionist and surgeon both say no drinking until a year out because of empty calories. They suggest getting to your goal weight, but to each his own.

    Scales

Hello, 8 was sleeved in June and I was wondering who has the best scale? Mine is not reliable, I mean it I weigh one day it says one thing and the next 10 min it's a 10 pound difference.
  9. I watched it occasionally before my surgery and now I watch it religiously. For me it helps remind me I'm not the only one struggling.

    Super stressed

I hope you have a support system to help you cope. Seek out a support group in your area, my surgeon hosts one so start there with yours. He also talks about those kinds of issues. Do not let that discourage you it is time for you to have a new life starting with you!
  11. I had my VS June 12 and week 3 was told not to sip but take big gulps by my surgeon. Usually is uncomfortable the first one but if I do it twice an hour I'm ok.

Have you talked to your DR? Just keep following your guidelines you will proablly drop a big loss soon. I think I would also check with your Surgeon. Good Luck

It looks like you've lost 28 pounds since day of surgery. That's fantastic! If you mean you haven't lost any weight this week, it's likely water weight. Our bodies do silly thing like retain water from time to time (due to hormonal fluctuations, salt intake, and seemingly every other arbitrary reason under the sun). Your weight will continue to drop. Stalls happen to all of us. Just stick to your meal plan, keep hydrated, and don't lose hope!
