My surgery was 2 years ago and I'm 90 lbs down, a size 8/10, healthy and fabulous. I eat whole organic foods, I exercise and have found that most of the time I'm very happy. (minus some heartburn issues). GOOD LUCK and keep the faith. Your shopping experiences are about to get seriously fun!!!

Sooo close to ONEderland ... 200.6 ... looking for REWARD ideas

I was just reading your 5K stats - that's AWESOME!!! I hate to run but am forcing myself, I thought 3 miles in 39 minutes was pretty good!!! I did a triathalon 5 years back and am trying to get myself back into it by Spring. You are doing so great with your weight loss I'm sooo imperssed. I was banded in July, 11 months ago, and have only lost 57 lbs. It took until about November for me to even feel restricted. Anyway - great job you're doing and I know that by the 4th you are going to be totally sassy!!! -

You are HILARIOUS!!! Love all of those ideas!!! I made it ... I made it ... I can't believe it. Thank you so much for your support! For some strange reason I thought it would never happen. -

Looking for ideas that go past manicure, massage, etc. Something that I will have forever ... any ideas? -
I am 5'6" too ... I stuffed 3 rolls of quarters in my bra & drank a liter of water to "make weight"!!! I added 7 lbs. doing that. If you're close you can try it!

HI! I'm relatively new to this forum and have not been banded yet so I can not give you any advice on that but this will work for you. It will because you are going to make that choice for yourself. Give yourself, and your body, some time. You're brain is going 100 mph and your body is probably about 25 mph!!! You've lost 11 lbs already - thats GREAT! Start reading the posts and learn ... learn ... learn ... as much as you can. You will be successful because you are beautiful [i can see your picture] and smart [because you're here!] and have a lot to offer everyone you know. Do I know you? Nope. Don't need to. But I know you can do it. We all can. Give yourself permission to accept your body's pace and to catch up to the rest of you. I hope that helps. Just keep reading here, type in a journal every day because in 3 months you are going to reflect back on this and think ... I DID IT!!!!

I just realized, through my "mydailyplate.com" journal that a Panera Cinnamon Crunch bagel has 410 calories & 75g carbs. HOLY MOLY. And that's before the tub of cream cheese I put on it. D'oh. We then proceeded to go to lunch for a coworker but I was good at Macaroni Grill. I had the Skinny Chicken. It was actually pretty good. But then dinner comes along and I had a cheeseburger, fries & split a turtle sundae with the hubster. Oh man. I'm so stuck in this JUSTIFICATION of eating it now before I will never be able to eat it again. I'm sure lots of people on this site have gone through this ... I just hope it''s not a message that I'm not ready. Today is Saturday. Weekends are so much harder being home then it is at work. I have to go make french toast for the kids. Sigh.

I love mydailyplate.com LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT ! I too read about it in a forum and joined right away. Did you know that a Panera Cinnamon Crunch bagel was 410 calories & 75g carbs? HECK NO I DIDNT - but I do now after I plugged it in so I ate a very good lunch to compensate. What a great tool. -

I know it's been a while ... but did the quarters in the bra work!?!?! -
I'm all set. All tests complete. Now I wait. Beaumont said that it's about a 1 month wait for the psych eval to come back. I'm not sure how considering all I did was pay $200 to fill in some circles. Oh well. Hopefully it will not take that long. I've been good on my psudo-preop diet. I took the suggestion of another blogger and started to log my food onto mydailyplate.com It's AWESOME!!! I feeling good ... and on track ... and not overwhelmed at the thought of 'never being able to eat again'.
