Tips for Disneyland & California Adventure Eating?

Headed to Disney in Anaheim! There is hardly anything on the web about the best places to find Bariatric friendly menu items in the parks, district and hotels. Any tips are appreciated! TIA! SW 255 on 6/19/17 -
Lettuce wrapped, cucumber, etc...all great! But what low carb bread and tortilla products do you like? I am 5 weeks out and those small, thin sandwich rounds and pita bread have been great. SW 255 on 6/19/17

Schedule for Gastric Sleeve but dr changed to Gastric Bypass

I had bypass at Mayo Clinic. They won't even do the sleeve unless medically necessary- it's just not as successful and the GERD issue is a big one. Hang in there and best of luck! SW 255 on 6/19/17 -

I like unjury. For some reason, I don't tolerate protein shakes and powders well. But I can handle their unflavored one just fine. Good luck! SW 255 on 6/19/17

Wow thanks everyone! I guess I was more asking about the ability to tolerate bread products but I wasn't very clear sorry. But I appreciate all the advice! SW 255 on 6/19/17

I had surgery 6/19 and been on puréed for almost a week. Doc told me complete another week for weeks total. He said because I am tolerating foods so well I can move on. But I haven't increased my portion size. Every doc is different. Follow the guidelines but trust your gut too. Best of luck! SW 255 on 6/19/17

Yes get the gas x strips! I had the same issue. It was awful. Mine was last monday the 19th. It stopped when I transitioned from Gatorade to pureed food.
