    Low BMI pre op question

If I was a 39 BMI but 40 was required I would probably do the same thing, but at under 30 BMI, I would think about it a lot more. Good luck!

That is terrible. What substitutes are you comfortable making? I’ve noticed some missing items also ☹️ You could have said USSR if you really wanted to make her head spin 😂
  4. 4+ yrs out: I guesstimate a lot. I rarely track my entire day, but I will spot check a meal to make sure I’m getting enough protein or limit my sugar intake. I haven’t looked at my overall calories in a long time. I’m certain if I start tracking now I will “behave” so it won’t show a realistic picture of my habits. I have hungry periods where I feel like I’m eating more than usual and then there’s times when I’m not as hungry. Since it’s been happening for so long I just roll with it. I’m definitely not eating 1000 cal or under. If I had to guess it’s around 1500-1600. That was my BMR according to a smart scale I used to have. One thing I know for sure is that I can’t eat anywhere close to the amount I did pre WLS. And my weight has been mostly stable for a few years.
  5. I prefer to drink on the mornings rather than eat. I like this structure more because I know I’ll be well hydrated.

    Chocolate cravings!!!

I just eat the chocolate when I crave it (also cycle related). I like Russell Stover sugar free chocolate. I also like higher percentage pure Cacao dark chocolate and I usually need much less of it. Let me know if you find a solution!

I ❤️ Sweet potatoes too. The quinoa was curry the sweet potatoes were plain but I feel like I’ve had sweet potatoes in a curry before.

I use Sweet Baby Ray’s. I’ve never had their regular type so I don’t know the difference. 😅 The regular is probably fine to use calories and carb wise because honestly I use regular ketchup.

    Food Before and After Photos

It is so simple that I contemplated even posting these because I barely did anything to them. The chicken could have cooked itself honestly 😂. I don’t know how anyone else is doing but I became so burnt out on cooking that everything I do has to be very simple or I can’t be bothered (with the exception of my fat too ornate pies 😩)

    Bread

Most plans given by Bariatric teams *may* allow bread months or years from where you are (but definitely not now). Some don’t recommend it at all. Did you receive any instructions from your Bariatric team about bread? I tried a bread based food at around 4 months post op (under advisement) and did not each much of it. At 4+ years out, it is still not a staple in my diet and I choose to eat mostly zero/low carb bread instead.
