You're swollen, if there are no other issues you will return to normal, As always if you are really concerned the best place to talk about it is your surgeons office...

    November 7th sleevers

I also have problems exercising , when I can I do, when I can't I don't worry about it. My philosophy is why make unsustainable changes now to accelerate weight loss that I will give up in a year and only to gain the weight back? Nah. I'm just going to commit to a true lifestyle change I can handle (mostly dietary ) and lose what I lose If I decide to start exercising vigorously in maintenance then... Icing on the cake (that I can't ever eat again lol )

I'm doing pretty well no complaints, finally made into Onederland!!! May not stay there because I had to many run ins with peanuts... I crave them like crazy. I wonder if that's a deficiency symptom? Anyone else with cravings? Well in going to cut back and move forward. I hope everyone's progress is well and recovery is smooth!

  11. Unflavored Protein didn't work out for me , I tried Isopure but could still taste it another version may be better I was instructed to track liquids in a log, by time 1/4 cup portions Max in 30 mins when in full liquids (cream of wheat, yogurt ) Used a timer for everything EVERYTHING KEEP food AND LIQUIDS SEPARATED BY 30 MINS ON EITHER SIDE OF CONSUMPTION I add premier caramel shake to decaf coffee it's the only way I tolerate the shakes Lump in my throat was my almost full indicator, never ate past it if I can help it I start my day with liquids instead of food I do Protein liquids before others to make sure it's done No compression socks Hope that helped

Can we talk about boobs and bras?

The bras I purchase almost never stretch out, the problem is the either the underwire breaks or comes out completely and for $54 average I need something that will last. And honestly it doesn't seem to matter is I machine or hand wash. I think the cup size is so big they forgot to use a thicker metal in the underwire and thicker fabric covering it.

Eating slowly and your full feeling

My full feeling is like a lump in my throat . I never eat past that sensation or I'm absolutely miserable. Try using a timer , but some foods you'll just naturally eat quicker (slider foods ) because they have minimal texture and give minimal resistance during chewing. Other foods like dense animals protein will take a lot longer because you have to use more effort. But you should only eat until right before you are full anyway working your way to larger amounts over time , the time guideline is the suggested maximum time to eat Sent from my N817 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Do you miss being overweight?

I invested in some pretty expensive clothes / coats because I thought i would be that size forever. When I had to give them away I had a small moment when I wished I could still fit them. Other than that no. Sent from my N817 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Pre Op Diet Nightmare

OK, there seems to be a ton of variations in the process from surgeon to surgeon . I had to see a psychologist, cardiologist, nutritionist and a slew of others. There was no looming deadline just as fast as you could move through the appts. I saw the surgeon and nutritionist at my first appt after orientation and was told the amount I needed to lose prior to surgery and the nutritional plan. I was only restricted from eating breads, grains and Pasta. I had to track and find the balance that I could stick with but was never required to have Protein Shakes so it sounded like you were on the 2 week preop diet slot of people complete right before surgery. And from orientation to surgery it was just about 5 months. Sent from my N817 using BariatricPal mobile app
