Success ! Did not curdle in hot or cold tea -
Called them to notify but on second thought I realized they are not the best to deal with it, they are just surgeons, I'm going to visit my friendly neighborhood hematologist [emoji23]

I gave up coffee about 7-8 months before surgery, then had it after (sleeve) surgery when it showed up on my hospital tray [emoji25] I drink regular and decaf (makes no difference for me) with no problems handling it. Started caffeinated a week after surgery. There are low acid varieties also.

Amazing progress! I could not tolerate the shakes post open either until I came across a comment saying that premier caramel shake added to decaf coffee was amazing, and it is! 5 months post open and it's the only way I drink it

Yes plenty of people heal slowly, try to measure your own progress not by how how quickly things go but by how sustainable the changes are Like the other posters suggested they different kinds until something works I still can't stomach the shakes (unless in coffee ) and I'm 5 months out. I stall all the time the first one was at one month post op and i stalled for three weeks, Now its more like two weeks at a time whenever my body feels like just dont bother to weight myself I decided that as long as im not gaining and my new smaller clothes fit im winning...
