I have a question for all posters and participants, when someone posts and you participate or respond to it do you "like" the original post or not? Does anyone know if it affects community ratings or if the topic trends?

I'm going to run another search before I ask website support, they seem busy... VSG2017 HW 249 SW 238 CW 169

I'm trying to figure out how things are filtered up to trending, why I see the same types of post even though I don't search for them or participate in them and mostly if its just bad manners to neglect to acknowledge the OPs efforts.VSG2017 HW 249 SW 238 CW 169

VEGAN after WLS
GreenTealael replied to AshMarie794's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It will be harder immediately after as well, a few month in it will be easier but you will have slower progress if you eat a lot of starches carb heavy foods and don't even mention Pasta or breads. You have to be VERY MINDFUL when planing VSG vegan meals but it is possibleEspecially with vegan protein shakes Sent from my Coolpad 3622A using BariatricPal mobile app -

Hi here, you may want to also discuss this with your team and perhaps reconsider which surgery you choose as you can very easily eat around the sleeve. You may need malabsorption as well as restriction but only you and your surgical team can decide that. Safe journey!

Loose jiggly skin -- what do I have to look "forward" to?
GreenTealael replied to Born in Missouri's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I'm just starting to notice the looser skin (and its not that bad) when I hit around 170 lbs which coincidentally is about 100 lbs loss from my heaviest weight ever. I see it in my upper thighs, arms and of course breasts. I had children more than a decade ago so that damage is set in stone But eventually I hope with toning or plastics I won't have to worry anymore.
