    Sigh... Can'tavoid it all, I posted this so we in the WLS community can be mindful and vigilant because almost ALL of our products are artificially sweetened. Some have natural sugar substitute but those are not as widespread. I'm just going to use bare minimum like premier shakes but not flavored syrups 😖 , etc. Just the stuff I can't get around...
  3. I use Green foods ceremonial matcha (it was locally available and I liked the taste) It has 25mg of naturally occurring tea caffeine (theine) per 2 tsps. So you can add as much water or milk you want and dilute it if to your need. I'm not sure about appetite suppression, I never noticed a difference but my appetite was never crazy. Except that time of the month, Sorry. I always loved green tea (medicinal also) and used it for the detoxification and cellular protection properties. I have noticed that the more green tea I drank in the past the weight would slowly & steadily drop without doing anything else , and stay off (it was how I lost 30lbs prior to wls but at about 10lbs per year without trying) Research shows EGCG in green tea stimules metabolism. I'm sure there's more to it all such as the L-theanine that helps reduce stress. I also like the fact that is plant based, holistic and something I can drink

    Omelette (rare for me, surprisingly it went ok) with Broccoli normandy vegetables Only about 1.5 eggs! I ate it all but left some vegetables behind (two different angles but are both before pics)

    I had this issue at your stage too, now I don't even eat cheese anymore, but all I ever really want to eat are nuts, sadly I can't (or rather shouldn't), your taste may also change over time...

  15. All caught up! Lol Just completed a 26hr true fast 😎 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎 I think is totally fine to take a break from fasting when you need to you know... Especially around that time of the month (except you Matt, sorry 😜), I always want to eat everything... and the eating drinking cycle wls peeps abide by makes it hard enough...

    Post-Op Question

    You maybe eating foods you cannot tolerate, try a few different types/brands of protein supplements. Also try to eat different foods one at a time to figure out which ones give you gas or make you bloated. Sometimes you won't be able to tolerate everything after surgery or it may take some time. Oh don't worry too much about it, apparently it takes time/effort to convert energy and store it as fat, the IF body would rather hold it as glycogen for quick release when you're in this pattern long enough. So you'll lose it again, the beauty of all of this is the end game take a look at some of the studies, IF is super effective especially for men...
