Maybe, he did claim she had surgery in 2016, but this list is for this year. -

What to eat before surgery
GreenTealael replied to afer0841's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The best part is since it's not technically required for you , you can do it how you want. Enjoy that freedom. Safe Journey, let's all know how things are going! -
What to eat before surgery
GreenTealael replied to afer0841's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thats what I thought you meant, did you ask about the 48-24 hrs before surgery if there were any special requirements? Personally my surgeon didn't require the liquid diet either but I put myself on one 5 day prior to surgery to further induce ketogenesis and eliminate any fat around my liver for an easier surgery. But that was a choice I made. I wanted to enter into this with the best chances possible. Sidenote People think they can never ever eat things again so they go crazy with food funerals. Truth be told, eventually most people can eat whatever but you shouldn't. I like making the best subscriptions possible. No real need to mourn food so heavily, it'll still be there. -
Forgive me if you answered this already but are you tracking in an app like MyfitnessPal? Can you screenshot an example of say two random days weeks apart from when you stalled to when you jumped up?

I freeze and share foods. I only eat certain fruits and vegetables anyway but they tend to freeze well (even in recipes) and I give away meals to friends too. I'm always sharing meals. -

What are your favorite WLS friendly grab and go foods

I really like boiled eggs and I seemed to be able to find them premade everywhere now. And they are now pairing them with cheese and fruit in tiny platters. -

I politely asked that if anyone had information they add it for others to see because I believe we should back up our claims But if you don't want to add info that's ok too -
I am very worried that I may need help.
GreenTealael replied to goldenbarbie's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It could be a number of non threatening things like a rohto virus, influenza or a stomach bug on top of dehydration. Or low blood pressure coupled withjust dehydration. Or just dehydration. All of these will make you feel terrible. ER will run tests but if really really really concerned give them your surgeons info to be contacted and ask for specialized test for things like Cdiff -
Is Everything we know about Food and Weight Loss Wrong??? "What the Health" Documentary : Lets discuss....
GreenTealael replied to ellie123's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
The problem is there is a pitfall everywhere you turn when it comes to food here, we can only educate ourselves and do the best we can. But soy is in almost everything and not the high quality stuff. -

It's best to stick with organic, thirdparty/independently verified non GMO soy in moderation -
Also 1 lb of fat is roughly 3500 calories, Check this against your BMR and caloric intake for say two days. You need a deficit of 7000 calories to burn 2lbs of fat. The numbers that move around more often is due to water influx and retention due to various changes, increased blood volume, hydration level, even non excreted waste (constipation) can add fluctuations in weight. When the dust settles after a few weeks (to account for possible stalls) and you no longer weight in range of a specific point, take it as a true loss, (or gain) Don't let the scale have so much control

I would caution you to do a ton of research before converting especially when it comes to soy.
