Fantastic! Then go there. Be willing to try out the support systems that are provided including people on the site trying to share "elder wisdom" with you. Take it or don't but it's recorded if you ever want to look for it again.

Do it anyway, IIH and the neuromeds can take a toll on you...

    Pseudotumor Cerebri

My neurosurgeon likes to perform an angiogram to see if the are blocked sinus something, can't remember, in addition to the IIH and put in stents when those are an issue. But sometimes it cannot be resolved simply... If you decide to go for it, we as a community support you.

Broke up with bf over this surgery.

You can totally organize everything in your home ahead of time to get through it mostly alone, especially if you are resolved to do it that way. Safe journey!

    Pseudotumor Cerebri

They can't ever know your current opening pressure without a LP which will indicate, improvements, declines or stability of the fluid production. I have IIH. I also see a Neuroopthamologist, Neurologist and Neurosurgeon. Lost 90lbs , in the 150s. Optic swelling greatly reduced. Headaches still present (but that may just be me) the real issue is are you going to give up again if you don't get the results you want ? If so then you may not be ready for this because it's two separate fights. I lost all this weight and I'm still having IIH issues and probably always will, but at least I reduced my risks of other preventable, controllable ailments...

Question: did you ever take any meds along with the weight loss, change your diet and get regular lumbar punctures? Also what was/is your starting weight?

A lot of us ranting here about annoyances never answer the posts that annoy us, or doing so rudely. But rants and raves really need to remain a safe space for venting, appropriately, without a lot of moderation.
  13. Goodness gracious, is everyone doing cardio except me 😖😖😢 Happy for you... And really happy for her 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
  14. Then you will be great whichever protocol you try. Ive done 36hrs by accident once, it was a dry fast though. 24hrs no big deal, feels like euphoria after a while because your body is in repair mode. I've done 36+ 24hr dry fasts in my life... But try pure water wet fast for quick results towards the end of your goal because any little carb you touch is going to act like a sponge after breaking the long fast and cause the scale to go up, glycogen and water but not body fat. You've experienced this already...
  15. Blush more, stress less Your wife is already salivating over you, guaranteed...
  16. I think maybe just the 20:4 but strictly done will get you there, but your biwel movements have to be on point... Why am I always talking about bowel movements lol...

    Pouch reset

I second the increase in water consumption. You can also mini reset, which is simply go back to cleaner foods from soft phase on and work the progression. I used to do this every month to make sure my diet was pristine until I started the Intermittent fasting protocol Safe Journey

    Should I switch to RNY?

I have the sleeve and experience real hunger, not head hunger. It does not always lessen in intensity or go away completely, so you may want to have that in the back of your mind... Whatever you choose, we support you!
