    Anyone regretting this?

I'm a Mom I'd drink water I'd follow my surgeon's advice I'd go to the hospital with my kids for any problem I'd take advice seriously when given by people who have experience I'd put myself first

    Food Before and After Photos

Legitimate salad from the salad bar Before and After
  3. Why does no one want to drink water? I don't get it...
  4. Looks yummy! Is this an after photo? I remember the first time I ate a whole turkey burger post op (nothing else of course) I was sooo proud of my 30g of protein entirely from food lol Those were the days...
  5. IKR! apparently the longer you fast the less hungry you are... I haven't done a long one in a while now... Maybe it's time.
  6. Ohhhhhhhh, nice!!!! Yes you may want to slowly break the fast with easier foods first. When I stared the longer stricter protocols, breaking fast prompted bowel movements I was not ready for. I looked it up and its common enough. Congrats on Autophagy, I'm sure you're killing it!

    So Dramatic...

Ohhhhhh yeah I plotted a whole outting around casually accidentally being close to a restaurant that the best diabetic friendly cheesecake of my life, twice in one week and literally forced other people eat it too ...
  9. Absolutely refusing to buy new clothing these days. I love the wardobe I bought at 4 months post op & spent a small fortune also, so I'm tailoring everything to my new size...

  10. Being sugar free will catapult you into ketogenesis and kick start weightloss even before surgery ensuring a continuous cycle of fat loss as long as you remain at a caloric deficit for long enough without adding a lot of additional quick access fuels (carbohydrates)
  11. Go with the sugar free clear pamphlet instructions. It has the higher levels of details. Congrats you are in the home stretch! Surgery very soon now!
  12. Presurgury clear liquid diet?

1 year Post Op (BUT ISSUES...)

Stick around a bit, stay a while...

    How to decide?

The post op lifestyle will mimic many current diets but be more manageable because you will see greater results (incentive) and have a little extra help (restriction) Other than that, it's all up to you to make it work. It's like building a house with a hammer vs an air compressor nail gun. Both can do the job, one is way more effective & quick ensuring you will complete the project before you are utterly too tired and frustrated to finish. Safe Journey!!!

    Pain post op

Lots of people experience the ill effects of skipping ahead in stages. Lots of people don't. You did the best thing you could have which is go back to liquids until you are better. Let your new digestive system heal, there will be plenty of time for festive foods. Promise. Contact your team amd let them know what's happening if things don't improve. Safe Journey!
  16. I eat a few different types but always with some type of chocolate and must be 200 cals or lower. Your habits (good or bad) I'm not judging. I just wanted to point out that it's a major part of your plan if you do it on a daily basis, if you are fine with that who can say anything.
  17. Once a day is a habit, not a treat. Work it into your plan and expect the correlated outcomes. I have protein bars, the ones that are more like candy bars once a day and a part of my meal because I like dessert but refuse to just eat anything. I decided in order to make it work I needed to find the "cleaner" versions of things I wanted, even the sugar free versions work occasionally. The cals will add up so I log them to stay accountable. Safe Journey!
  18. Wow! Thanks for the 💜 I appreciate it!!!

    Help, I'm hungry AGAIN!

As much salad as you want to try, no or very little dressing, animal proteins optional. At 1 year out I'm sure you are getting enough protein or are addressing that issue. The salad is basically tons of bulking fiber with very little calories, good in every way including filling up if you're hungry but can't afford more calories
  20. I think you may benefit from guided meditation/deep mindful breathing. YouTube.
