๐๐๐๐๐๐ Nope, usually the longer you keep them alive, the more eggs you can get Just like sheep don't have to be sacrificed for you to wear wool And cows or goats don't have to perish for you to get milk If youre really worried, try getting your eggs from a local farmers market/farm and you can ask directly about their humane practices. Safe Journey!

Yes it's normal for some of us. A lot of things can cause the scale to fluctuate even drift upward including hydration levels, sodium intake, menstrual cycles and even constipation. Keep an eye on all of those things as well as the scale to determine trends. Safe Journey!

Hi, I would suggest that before you pouch reset, pantry reset. If the foods that snuck in your diet and wrecked it are still around, you'll probably continue to eat them after you reset, making it an exercise in futility. I'm new but I used to reset every month to reevaluate my choices and abandon things I didn't need. Drink A LOT of water and fluids (64+ oz) to kick it off and go back to basics as much as possible. e.g. leafy vegetable and lean protein only meals, no eating and drinking, don't drink things with cals, lower carb intake, no sugars for a while (fruit also), salads with minimal dressing, distinct meal times, no grazing/snacking Good luck & welcome back

Careful, check in with your physician on how often a stimulant laxative can be used. I can cause issues also if taken in excess -

IF Strikes again back down to 156 after a few days of 16:8, 18:6. Happy to see it will be my maintenance tool. Also, psyllium husk in a keto friendly bread I made sat like a log in my sleeve but cleans the plumbing -
Paranoid I've already Stretched My Stoma - 3 Weeks Out
GreenTealael replied to Vagrant Violet's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
A reset at 3 weeks post op? You are being a little paranoid. Try slowing down by drinking according to a timer and amount (e.g. 4oz every 30 mins) And try to go with the indicators your body gives you. Stop before that too full/overfilled feeling. Safe Journey! -

Both mirrors and camera lenses can distort an image in different ways. You also may look different in different mirrors or photos taken by different cameras. And what the eye sees may vary wildly from person to person as well. I would suggest picking a mirror or camera that gives you the image you like to the most (my mirror is from Walmart and it makes me look taller) and use it to record your progress. Congrats on your success!

Looking for low GI healthy carbs that aren't sliders?
GreenTealael replied to Mhy12784's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
Visit a local GNC, vitamin shop, etc to get a recommendation for a (gains or builders) protein. They will likely recommend something higher in quality than Premier and if it's causing intense hunger oatmeal may just be out for you. If you want to continue with it, try eating yogurt or cottage cheese along side the oatmeal instead of Premier. If that doesn't work you may have to learn to drink away hunger. Or adding low GI vegetables in a salad that is filling for very little cals. -
Looking for low GI healthy carbs that aren't sliders?
GreenTealael replied to Mhy12784's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
Try adding dried or fresh fruit, chia seeds , fats and fiber (psyllium husk) to the oatmeal. 600 cals is like 1.5 dry cups? -
