Ok, maybe some basics like: Pantry/fridge cleaning day on the 29th, grocery reboot shopping day the 30th, first day of all liquids December 1st, full liquids on the 2nd, soft foods on the 3rd, etc Thoughts? And some suggestions!

Try to focus solely on your journey. I could say that she'll fail soon with those habits, but what if she's a super loser and will lose no matter what, while you continuously struggle but did everything right? It wouldn't seem fair, but thats the problem with comparison. Comparing yourself to ANYONE else is a setup for unintentional misery instead of appreciation of yourself. Be wonderful at being yourself on your journey, and let Madame Eatery do the same.

Intermittent Fasting Daily Menu/Results/Accountability
GreenTealael replied to FluffyChix's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
You know what would be great, a magic 8ball style scale. Sure it will give your weight but also some positive affirmations and jokes too. Like if you gain it will say that you're more awesome than before, if you lose it will tell you to never lose your charm, etc... -

It's almost that time again! THE FALL (or Autumn to be less ominous) Pumpkin Spice carb traps and Maple Syrup deviations from plan will be everywhere. and UGGs but let's not go there... I wanted to add a thread where everyone can leave concerns, questions, tips, gripes, recipes, suggestions, observations, etc. about just this one season that seems to rotate around food How do you plan to make it successfully work in your favor? Share with us! Leave a complaint and suggestion below...

Never did get my pumpkin spice , I think I'll just get the flavored coffee since its Everywhere But OMG every horrible baked good ever is out now. Cinnamon and sugar floating through the air. How is everyone else handling Dante's Inferno?

The Thrill Is Gone

I no longer enjoy putting myself last, narcissistic people, drinking liquor, buying snacks for everyone and Winter (Popcorn, I still miss you a little) -
I would not suggest using a sugar substitute that is really just sugar by another name (it may slow down progress) There are a plethora of non sugar substitutes, made from plants, fruits and vegetables, or in a lab. Try one until it fits. The other viable choice is no sugar substitutes at all. You're sweet enough 🌈 Safe Journey!

3 weeks post surgery
GreenTealael replied to nikkylove89's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would suggest changing the title (while you still have the ability) to reflect your question. Otherwise you may not get the responses you are hoping for. Safe Journey! -
Hi everyone! As November ends everyone here will have celebrated their first Surgiversary! 🎉🎉 🎉 CONGRATS 🎉🎉 🎉 Does anyone want to participate in a mass reset? Set the tone for the new year, reinvigorate healthy habits and trigger some losses? Want to start December 1? I'm thinking we can progress through the post stages one or two days on each. But mainly the clearing out of junk from our diets again, just like when we prepping for surgery and serious about this. Any thoughts

Everything tastes gross! Help!
GreenTealael replied to HoneyBeBrave's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Tastes may change but you can adjust flavors (seasonings) to your new standards if you make most things fresh (freshly made fish and chicken instead of canned may make a difference) Safe Journey! -
You will have to work, hard. The sleeve can manipulated as you can see. I suggest removing the tempting foods from your life, carving out a sustainable plan, only eating set meals (no snacks at all), using support systems for good mental hygiene, forgiving yourself for this one event and vigilantly moving forward. Safe Journey!

Pre surgery- planned bypass now thinking sleeve
GreenTealael replied to 2Bsmaller18's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
The sleeve will mean risking worse reflux that can turn into a more serious condition, then you will have to revise to a bypass anyway. SKIP THE EXTRA STEPS. I suggest you speak with your team again but stick with the original plan -

😁😁😁😋😋😁 Nope, usually the longer you keep them alive, the more eggs you can get Just like sheep don't have to be sacrificed for you to wear wool And cows or goats don't have to perish for you to get milk If youre really worried, try getting your eggs from a local farmers market/farm and you can ask directly about their humane practices. Safe Journey!

Yes it's normal for some of us. A lot of things can cause the scale to fluctuate even drift upward including hydration levels, sodium intake, menstrual cycles and even constipation. Keep an eye on all of those things as well as the scale to determine trends. Safe Journey!

Hi, I would suggest that before you pouch reset, pantry reset. If the foods that snuck in your diet and wrecked it are still around, you'll probably continue to eat them after you reset, making it an exercise in futility. I'm new but I used to reset every month to reevaluate my choices and abandon things I didn't need. Drink A LOT of water and fluids (64+ oz) to kick it off and go back to basics as much as possible. e.g. leafy vegetable and lean protein only meals, no eating and drinking, don't drink things with cals, lower carb intake, no sugars for a while (fruit also), salads with minimal dressing, distinct meal times, no grazing/snacking Good luck & welcome back
