Lightning strike as in very rare occurrence

As stated by the other wonderful posters, the Foamies or Slimies. Super common. I used to have to avoid sitting upright too quickly in the AM, instead I would roll to the side and wiggle out of bed at an angle. Something about the 90 degree angle compression on my abdomen caused the nausea. Eventually I was able to get up normally. Very rarely ever get nauseous anymore. Safe Journey 🎈

Hi, I don't know what your insurance is like but usually the approval of surgery and coverage is very specific (based on the surgical coding) so you may not be able to simply substitute or change it at the last minute (surgeon maybe able to under extreme emergencies during surgery). You may want to check on that first. Next speak with your Surgeon one more time and tell them you are strongly considering RNY now, get their feedback. Seems like you've done all the research and have all the information, no one can make this choice besides you and the surgeon, together. GERD can transform into more serious conditions, I personally would not have risked it. But you must do what is absolutely best for you. Safe Journey 🎈
