Since your Surgeon and ER docs ruled things out and gave you a plan they believe, so try to follow it. It is likely still swelling from major surgery. Conversion from a band can be tricky I have read because of the levels of erosion and scar tissue that may be present. Your healing may be slow but you seem to have a team that cares and that can make a difference in how you feel about your progress month to month. Congrats on a successful surgery. Get well soon. Usually your surgeon's office will begin to consider scheduling once you've satisfied all requirements including insurance approval. That means almost every appointment and test has been completed and all paperwork has been submitted. Call and ask how much more in the process or when they are looking to schedule you for if you absolutely can't wait. If you are a self pay/medical tourist it could be a way different time line. Good luck!

Yes my arms a lot smaller than they were and than i would have predicted they would have been ever been... so are the twins 😳 And on the protein front... I know i can just get it done if i have to. its not like I'm malnourished in the least i just want to explore my non protein options sometimes But who am i kidding i eat my weight in yogurt so im likely covered 😂

The amount of excess skin you will have will depend on a lot of variables. There is no guarantee it will be enough to warrant surgery.
