Hi! I also get iron infusions. No worries ! It's like having a saline solution line in for dehydration. It may take long because it may be a slow drip (infusion rate). Relax bring Netflix, music or a book ... even sleep (thats my favorite) It takes a while to feel the effects but you will. Breathing will become easier, walking will feel less burdensome, fatigue will be reduced, etc. Good luck 💜

You can see it floating around, and it may just be stress of the season, influx of new accounts or the contagion that fear breeds. Negativity. Everyone seems constantly afraid of something and it becomes attached to surgery/weightloss because that's what this forums is for. General fear of failure, anticipation of regain, denial of insurance, surgeon error, marital status, auxiliary medical issues, etc... Did anyone really believe this was a great pathdecision, choice, etc from the start and is still standing by it? Can we share some (realistic) positivity for people who need to know it's totally worth it?

This can only really be diagnosed by your doctor. Its possible that its just the influx of acids temporarily. I used a PPI for 2 months straight then discontinued. Use the meds and if there is no relief let them know ASAP. They may change dose or type. 💜 Congratulations on a safe surgery 💜
