Okay so I have been seeing alot of people saying they had to have a nicotine test prior to surgery. I was a heavy smoker for years stopped due to pregnancy then I started back up about 2 months ago then stopped but this weekend ended up smoking. I'm afraid I just self sabatoged myself. My doctor doesnt know I smoke. He knew I was a smoker but I choose not to tell him because I was trying to quit yet again. I'm afraid that if they do a test he will cancel my surgery.
