To me the room felt like any hospital room. Not all have glass windows between them. I had a private room with a tv. Bathroom is shared with others but everything else will make you feel right at home

I ended up spending 2 nights there. The nurses were amazing, especially the night nurses. Perfect care and very responsive. You want ant to stay in that unit. Ratio is 2 patients per nurse vs 4-6 upstairs

Had Dr Chen for all Pre op. He is kind, gentle and an excellent clinician. At the last minute they switched me to Dr Dustin because Dr Chen wasn't credentialed with Health Net. On the day of surgery, they both came to see me before and after. Everyone from the reception desk to the pew-op staff to nursing care was amazing They even have a specialist on essential oils and self Hypnosis to help you deal with post op stress and any pain you might have I work in healthcare and am very picky I loved the team at UCLA and would highly recommend them The
