    Too Much Meds

Yes, I didn’t get the prescriptions until my last appointment
  9. Okay, everyone my day is tomorrow 10/11. I’m having the sleeve and gallbladder removal. Scared and excited at the same time. I been on clear liquids for 14 days and feel great. I keep thinking if I can do 14 days of clear liquids, then why couldn’t I be faithful to any other diet plans and not have this surgery...[emoji848][emoji848]
  10. Lol....for me it was important to stay busy. Also, thinking about making sure my liver has shranked.
  11. I won’t be sleeved until 10/11, so I can’t relate just yet. But I know that you must stay hydrated. My nutritionist says to drink something every hour..gatorade, broth, protein, water, and popsicles. Hang in there.

  13. I’m currently on day 10 of the liquid diet. I could that the protein powder keeps me full longer than the pre-made protein drinks. I may do the powder in the morning and evening, which 2 pre-made shakes, chicken broth, jello and popsicles in between. Also, water throughout the day
  14. I’m experiencing that right now. My doctor called in a muscle relaxer for me. I only had one pill so far. Seeve 10/11

    October '17 RNY buddies

My doctor told me the same thing........less complications
  16. Wanted to see if anyone else has that date or close to it so we can do the pre-op together. I also have to have my gallbladder removed. I excited and scared at the same time. I was reading an article yesterday that says individuals that undergo weight loss surgery will start to regain after 5 years. I'm not sure of the percentage but it was rather high. I been reading other post on here and hearing a lot of people being disappointed in having hunger come back and have to be prescribed appetite suppressants. I can't understand how the hunger comes back if you have the surgery. Is it true that the stomach stretches? Some say yes, some say no. This is a major surgery and I'm paying out of pocket so this is a major investment for me. Just want to see how others are feeling about all this...

    Starbucks Egg bites

I feel ya. It tastes like powder. Funny how everyone has different taste buds.
  18. I found that doing the protein powder in the morning around 11 helps in keeping me full until around 2. I then may have chicken broth. Around 3 I drink a protein shake and another around 7. In between I have popsicles, jello, and water. Hope this helps
