Had my surgery yesterday. Hoping to go home tomorrow morning. Still some pain but no nausea. Dr. would have me go tonight but I decided to stay until. tomorrow -

Hi focusonthefuture. I can really appreciate what you said in this post about being a physician. I too am a physician and I'm trying to concentrate on the pros versus the cons. My medical training is definitely a double edged sword because I've seen some of the badness that can happen with surgery. I too am about to have a Roux-en-Y in the next week. I hope that your surgery goes well and that you have a speedy recovery.
