Iseethinme has had 2 surgeries. April 2008 where I had Lapband and a Hernia Repaired from my sons Birth. The 2008 surgery never felt right. I continued going to my Lapband doctor appointment always leaving crying. My Cardiologist told me flat out the band was placed wrong and that is why I was not losing weight. I was on a quest to get answers. I saw a nutritionist the whole time who also felt it was placed wrong because I was eating right and never felt any kind of restriction. Fast Forward to April 2010 Easter I got a stomach virus and was vomiting a lot but I gave it a couple of days. Big Mistake. By Tuesday I was throwing up blood and the band slipped down and strangled my stomach. Off to the LapBand doctor. He sent me directly to the ER. Immediate Surgery Next Morning the other surgeon from the same practice assured me he could fix my band. I went under praying that this would be the answers to my prayers. My suspicion was right! New Band in April 2010 gave me a New Life and a New Perspective! I have consistently lost pound for pound but I also attend Weight Watcher Meetings. That keeps me accountable weekly to the scale. Anyone who has had issues with their band please feel free to contact me on LapBandTalk.com
