Hi everyone. I was just banned last Monday, and I feel great. It was a rough start. I was back in the hospital Thursday night after throwing up all day, so I had to be UNFILLED! I felt grat after that. I really don't know who I'm going to eat food when I am full after drinking a quarter cup of tea. I'm not aloud to take any meds or vitamins, not even my protein shake. I see him tomorrow. So we will see where it goes. I still feel restricted but not like I did on Thursday.

Hello Everyone!!! I Have not been on line for quite some time. I just don't have the time. My dad has been very ill since Thanksgiving, but hes slowly bouncing back. He is the number one reason I'm having the lapband done. He is diabetic and all of his problems today stem from that. So on MONDAY March 23, I will begin my journey. I'M SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! So I'm sure with the week off after surgey I will be on line everyday. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks Debbie

Hello everyone! went for my three hour appointment today. I'm so hppy to be on my way. I see the dietitian again December 16, then finally Dr Hoffman Janurary 6th.

Hello My name is Debbie. I was in the october seminar. I was told in July I would be in the August seminar, Then the septembar one, and nothing. I called everyday like you and nothing. I fianlly went down there and got into thr october seminar, in their defense they did have all my paper work in a folder which made me feel better.

Hi I did hear from the clinic back a few weeks ago. I called and left a message and a girl, I think her name was Georgia, called and said, that I would be in the next seminar, but they did not have a date set up yet. If I hear anything else I will be sure to let you know. Debbie

Hello! I was at delaware park at 8 today. Where is the juicery??? At delaware entrance near ball dimonds or parkside entrance near basketball courts. I did see a group of four start walking from where the stand says custard, bnut did not know if it was you guys or not. I would love to walk next week. Please let me know where the juicery is. Hello I sent all my paper work in June3rd, and have not heard anything! Is this normal. How long before I should call and ask if they received my paper work. I was hoping to be asked to the July seminar. any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Debbie

Hi Judy! I was reading your blog about having cold feet! I am sooooo excited about this surgery. I'm not in it to make me look better, I'm in it to FEEL better. I'm only 43 and have had diabetes for about 4 years, along with that I have high blood pressure and high cholestrol. I look at this as a new lease on life. I can't wait to feel like i'm 20 again. My dad has been a diabetic for about 40 years and last year was started on dialysis, for his kidney failure, which is a complication of diabetes. So its ok to be a little nervous but look at the out come. A healthier YOU

hello, I'm am in the process of getting my paper work ready to send in and hope to be asked to a seminar. Do we have to have insurance referrals before we go to the seminar??? In the paperwork from Dr Hoffman is states that you do. Please I'm very frusrtated. I'm afraid if I wait to get referrals its not gonna be til July that I hand my paperwork in. Then God only knows when I'll get into a seminar.
