Thankful yet stalled and scared

What does your menue look like -
i used to do IF with BPC , but I can not imagine it now, half my calories for the day going on a drink I think it would taste abit to heavy for me right now too.

You are both right. People coin the word fasting to have many different variations. The two main ones: Fasting means no food or liquid other than water. then some allow black coffee/tea no sugar. Fasting associated with low carb etc, is were you are allowed fat because it does not cause an insulin spike. Alot of people do 'bullet proof coffee fasts 'and have great success. But many prefer to abstain from any calories during their fasting window, and it works for them. Alot of people find this type of fasting to have alot of 'healing properties' & have great success. Many choose to allow fats in their fasting window and it also works for them. But it just depends on the individual, their needs, health, goals etc. which form of fasting suits them best.

Your husband is supposed to support you, you are supposed to feel you can talk to your husband about any issues you are facing , so clearly there is a problem, you should communicate to them that you are not feeling like you can talk honestly and openly. Holding things in can effect us negitvaly.

Crystal light , anything you can have just have it, popsicles etc You got this. Do what you can.

I do not understand why they flipped out, I misunderstood that part, you are unable to drink water, and you feel you can drink juice as to not be completely dehydrated which is life threatening, They would rather you drink nothing? There logic is lost on me, as juice may have sugar etc etc. But I would rather you drank whatever you could get down so you do not end up in hospital on a drip.

How far out? I have not noticed it yet. Keep fluids up , and snacks/meals on scedual , maybe that might help ? I noticed growling feeling the first few weeks , i am only 7 weeks out so do not know what to expect past this point.

Sleeve surgery and Blood pressure -- WHY??
dreamingsmall replied to GotProlactinoma's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
How is this in your life? Stress causes my blood preasure to go up, it was high anyway, but it went dangerouslly high a week before surgery due to some things that went on. Mine is normal now 7 weeks post, no longer on meds. -
1st restaurant experience post op
dreamingsmall replied to sylvia2017's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
That is the most dramatic thing I have heard today. " Manager your waitress wanted to make sure my food was good, please retrain her as a point of urgency" Funny I am sorry but the waitress is not responsible for every humans feelings to a simple question she asks every single person on a daily basis if she notices they are not eating much food, as most of the time it means the food is not good. How was she to know this was not the case for this one person lol cut the woman some slack, she was just trying to do a job to a good standard. -

Dont have to thank me! I would have felt exactly the same, and I would have reacted less diplomatically so she is lucky it was not my picture she was commenting on or it would have ended differently lol. Keep up the good work! I hate all this bitchy competition thats covered up with " hey I'm a vet" I do not care vet or newbie gives no one the right to come on someones thread and make it some kind of campagn for their view that is not what this post is about, she could have rolled her eyes and created her own post lol You are inspiring -
Problem with purging
dreamingsmall replied to Etharia's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
There is a difference to vomiting naturally and actually forcing your self to vommit which causes the stomach to contract alot more aggressively than just one little vomit, your nurse was not saying this wth a deliberate purger in mind. It is not the same. I can 100% feel the difference from a vomit that sure causes abit of pressure, and a deliberate purge which puts a hell of alot more strain on the body. The frequency of just vommiting casually and the frequency of forcing your self to puke after almost every meal is also a variable in perhaps the fact damage can be done. Can you imagine the amount of acid from regularly purging, is not the same the little amounts from vommiting every now and again. Thats just my experiance I am no expert in anyone elses purging lol. -
Problem with purging
dreamingsmall replied to Etharia's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi , I don't know if you saw my post, but I was bulimic many years. I ended up doing it once recently it was like a reflex to feeling full, but I did not over eat either. Yes you 100% could be hurting your new stomach, acid etc. You need to speak to your surgeon asap. And your doctor. You need to get back in with a therapist to discuss what may be triggering this for you , we sometimes think its nothing but actually it is something that may not even be at the for front of your mind. -

I am leaving it. i felt bad for you but your abit rude too. I was just curious! Why post your big post if you are not going to want questions? All the best. -

Leaving dieting behind
dreamingsmall replied to bellabloom's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Sorry who was this to? You must have read something wrong. I said " I WILL be following my plan, I did not say the american plan was BETTER neither did I say I was SO SURE.. but in my 3 week liquid diet my plan mentioned icecream and puddings. I do not see the american plans allowing this. I chose not to have them. I am following my plan does not mean i have to eat everything on my plan. I pick what i feel I am okay to eat. , as I am still wondering were I said I won't be following mine My first sentence was " but i obvcourse will be following my surgeons plan ". I am in constant contact with my NUT and when I see something on here I am curious about i email and ask about it. I do not think ignoring the part saying i can have icecream will be detrimental to my journey. Thanks. My NUT is already aware I have chosen not to have certain foods that trigger cravings for me. the plan is not static. It is adaptable , and i adapt it with my Nuts permission when I doubt something I have seen , or feel something will not work for me. Not eating some things is not , not following the plan. Other than that I am following the plan and I have had great success so far. I am working hard , and doing just fine. -
Sleeve: Most sleeve patients do not feel hunger ghrenlin is removed. I am 7 weeks , no hunger, have to remind myself to eat.

This is not about what is realistic. It is not the OP to tell others what to expect. Your first comment was " its unrealistic" no weldone or congrats. I think saying you were happy for her in the original comment not after she called you out. You can not put the responsibility on the OP if people do not know realistic outcomes. You want many to succeed but not those who lose like the OP? Only those who lose slower or more average get a weldone? I am a believer that all deserve a weldone, 1 lb or 40lbs. But that is just me. Bringing one down to prove to others this is not usual? I think its clear it is not average and you should trust that people can research themselves. Even 28lbs in 2 weeks is unrealistic FOR ME. I do not go round commenting such on each weightloss post lol. I am off this post. Have a nice day. Maybe you can say weldone next time aswell as inform people of the 'average'. WELDONE OP We are all working at it , and no matter how small or how big we all deserve a congrats on this journey -
I would just have a sleeve if i was under 300, which I did, have you got any worries. I already have issues taking vits so id be really sick by now if i went for bypass. but I KNOW it works for some

So.. What made you feel you should switch? This post needs more information, there are big reasons people decide sleeve is not for them, so who knows.

I do not think the original poster is being nasty, she is being told she has her dates wrong and all sorts. I wont be posting my victories on here, id react the same if i was ripped to shreds just because your 10even 20 years in the game doesnt mean they know it all lol -

dreamingsmall replied to chynadoll619's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You did not seem happy. its quite discouraging to see negitive posts on posts that should be full of support, we all know people lose at different rates, she should not hide a way because she is one of the ones who experiance rapid weightloss. -

dreamingsmall replied to chynadoll619's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
That is very rude why post at all? I am 7 weeks out and 28lbs down. Yes unrealistic for me to lose that amount but do not feel bitter when someone does. It depends how much you have to lose etc, she is working hard so why be rude?
