    The risks are there for the surgeon who completed the surgery and there for her program does not include having solids early, your surgeon perhaps may do the surgery abit different and is confident that his way of doing the surgery is okay to have solids early. But you are right if solids so early causes leaks a surgeon would not have it on their plan. Eating solids early is not on the OP plan so what does that mean? HER surgeon feels the risk is too great, so what are we debating ?

    No hunger. No appetite.No food cravings, this sounds like a good thing to me? but i think things got better about week 6 but yes water s a struggle perhaps flavour your water with sugar free stuff and tea etc to help?

    I would not reassure someone they would not have a leak unless I had xray vision, thats just me though. But yes.. Seriously.

    Different surgeons perform the surgery differently, so each surgeon will have a plan to suit how they do the surgery , eating solids before someones plans indicate to do so increases the risk of leaks, this is not debatable. The fact you were able to eat pasta on day 4 makes no difference to the increased risk, and perhaps each surgeon puts their paitents on a plan to reduce risk depending on how their surgery is done?? You may have an odds that eating solids to early will not cause a leak, but that makes no difference. It does in some people and has. So if its not on someones plan they should try their best to avoid . . The mentalilty of " if its so dangerous it would not be available" well.. You only have to look around to see how that view is abit well.. Many things are out there that are not ideal or Great for one, but risky for another, does not mean they would eliminate it all together . I agree though it would be better if she can get on track from now.

    I understand the , plenty of sugar. Plenty of empty calories. And drinking calories is not a good idea. But cold pressed juice 100% not made from concentrate no added sugar. mixed with water every now and again is the same as drinking a can of coke? I personally do not drink it but I did not know this.

    Every plan is different , so if its allowed in your plan .. It is allowed in my plan( 50/50 Water) , not having it currently.

    You are realy helpful taking the time to really help me , how you explained it is how it really is so you really understand, I like the idea of what you do weighing a certain amount for the day in the mornig, instead of weighing constantly through the day? if that makes sense. I also think if i eat the same food everyday that will help so actualy you saying eat x amount today will help , i do love my 2 ounce containers and my four ounce containers. And yes I do not quite trust my guesing right now, but i think when the scale starts moving again things will be less of a storm in my mind. Hmm thats a great idea too with only lean meat and the veg allowed. So many good ideas , may have to try one and see how i get on an then try another I have had a nap as i felt so exausted i woke up and im still tired lol but feel better thank you

    Thank you i will pm you , you want to know how stupid i am? i eat out of the same four ounce containers EVERYDAY lol and still weigh it , ive now started using two ounce containers just to be on the safe side lol. like make chicken or steak for a few days and weigh them into 2 ounce containers, eat one two ounce take a break see if i am still hungry then maybe have the other 2 . you know with all the " 4ounce of one food not being the same in 4 ounces of something else" im exausted lol thank u for your help i keep repeating whenever i want to tell my mum im finding things tough i always end with " but i dont regret my sleeve im happy with it" and shes like i know you dont regret it you dont need to keep saying that bit its okay if things are not easy. I am sooo happy i did this surgery. but im putting so much preasure on myself

    Sorry i forgot to say my emotional instability might not be from low carb lol i have diagnosed ocd which gets worse under stressful situations but that was why my surgeon and nurse and nut told me to not start weighing food too often and not at all if i can and just eat in a small container but i could not help myself because everyone says thats what you need for success.

    I even asked. " you dont want me to do low carb you want me to do a normal balanced diet but how does this work if i have to eat protein first" reply : " Oh it will figure it self out as you get further out from your sleeve" so. what about now lol i am on normal whole food. i need a plan lol

    I trust the process for everyone else. You know , I am the first to say relax its okay stay calm it will happen. But I am about to quit this whole thing and go back on a liquid fast. Old school days. But with that, when i start I cant stop i want to just keep going for unlimited amount of days it works. but messes my head up

    Well i didnt have to do low carb but i am supposed to have something from each food group i was told not to do low carb but i have no space after i eat my protein first i am told to eat protein first, so i didnt know if i am supposed to eat a vegetabel as a snack? I am emotionally unstable anyway i reckon. I dont trust human beings, i dont trust myself, i dont trust my body, i dont trust my scale for weighing humans i dont trust my scale to weigh my food, i dont trust my damn food. f** i cant even trust myself to measure the water im drinking so i cant drink out of like half bottles so if the bottle is not full the water i drunk doesnt COUNT!!! so have to make sure i am drinking whole bottles full to the top so i can measure it accurately . Your hearing is very sharp . my hopes and dreams?i am not even wasting my time thinking about it because though i know my sleeve is wonderful i am very happy about it, its me thats the problem i do need more carbs i dont know were to put it i need help this is how my team explain it a few spoons from protien few spoons from carbs and then starch wtf is that? just someone tell me what to eat and il eat it . eerytime i open this stupid plan i want to throw it out the window.

    Why do they think you have an eating disorder? Many people go to them everyday every year, and its not like every single person gets diagnosed with an eating disorder, so you must have an idea why they said you had one.

    Many people obese and have an eating disorder, i am not sure what you even mean by that comment, perhaps you need to do some educating, as you may disagree but they have had alot of training/studying on this subject, so perhaps ask them what made them think this, and see if it makes sense to you .

    I can't say on here what I am really thinking, but a round about way of saying, i am not happy about this lol thanks for replying, i saw your post of you weighing like food and just ticking of when you have them maybe il try that i am getting so obbessive i knew i would , its getting stressful. weigh 4 ounce if i weigh 4.1 ounce i have to pour it out cut it all up and pour it back in, then i think **** my scales might be wrong i should weigh out 4 ounce remove one ounce, so if my scale is wrong then i wont be thinking im weighing 4 ounce but actually eating one 5 ounce. cut it up weigh it pour it out do the whole thing again. kill me now.

    I know wht you mean grit is some gooey gloop made from corn maize im wondering hat refried beans is like is it fried twice? OUT OF HOSP IN 12 hours!?? yikes i was in 3 days lol my team hated protein drinks and did not want me to drink any what are yoru protein meals like? i was on whole normal food from week 5 wow lucky i have not had dumping what did you eat, i eat steak alll the time lol love it , no issues. how many weeks are you?

    Yesturday Eat brunch :4 ounce steak diced peppers and onion ( That is four ounce total with everything) No oils etc just put in the oven. Snack - pepperami stick ( yes prossessed junk better than the crap i used to eat) its like 0.something ounces and one cheese stick. lunch 2 ounces of chicken that i made in the oven some cucumber and tomatoe to total 4 ounces. snack - 2 ounce of chicken dinner 2 ounce of sausage cucumber and tomatoe to total 4 ounces. 72 grams of protein

    Some people have an issue with fluids ( like myself still struggling 8 weeks out) and some do not ( like your self) and I would honestly call it a blessing to not struggle. When you move onto dense protein you will feel the restriction Do not worry.

    Hi UK sleeved 8 weeks ago:) What food have you never heard of lol You are for sure not alone, what is your plan like? Do you have to weigh food? If so how much do you have to eat at a time? Is your plan low carb or low fat etc? There for sure is alot of variations between us and uk plans

    You have mis understood , I did not once say anyone should 1. sugar coat anything. 2 not be honest and say things are crap if they are crap. My only point is i felt she perhaps should not be advicing people to not get something not knowing their medical condition/state as to whether it would benefit them or not, I had no issue with her stating she is having a hard time.. I did not once say she should not do that. I have been nice on this thread , so I will leave now. as I have shown support, and even shared when I struggled so why would i in the next breath be saying " shshhhh only talk when you happy girl" when that is not what i said. But yeah it does not mean people are dumb when they are influenced by someones REAL and LIVED experience. How I handled myself post op was thanks to alot I heard from random people, it helped. Also nerves set in and say day before people see someone saying do not get the surgery can set doubt into peoples mind. But by all means say this surgery is sh*** and they wish they had not got it. I don't want to argue with anyone, I was trying to offer the lady support and thats it. I knew someone would be negitive but I can not even be bothered when what I said is clear. I will just unsubcribe to the post, so you dont have to waste your energy responding to my post.
