Worried at 3 weeks - easily eating...
dreamingsmall replied to Daniel!'s topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Well your going to have to change your frame of mind and get some control. Yes we all had problems with control. But now there are consequences of over eating like causing a leak etc. As long as you are not eaten more than your plan it doesn't matter about not feeling certain thing's. This will come. Your body is still healing. This is no indication you will fail. When your on dense protein you will feel the restriction. Sent from my Swift 2 using BariatricPal mobile app -

Just cannot eat
dreamingsmall replied to PrayingForWeightLoss's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hi. Shakes are not the only option. I use syntrex ice tea protein. I love making cold drinks. I skipped the soft food stage as I was skipping meals because soft food was gross so when I saw my surgeon at 5 weeks he told me to just go on to normal food. What have you tried. Mashed up chicken and mayo isn't so bad. I can never have tuna mayo again in my life lol I craved it so much I had a lot of it in puree stage. It will get easier. Keep trying. I understand that. But if orange juice just has orange juice in it. And coke is full of a bunch of chemicals ASWELL as them both being equally as sweet. I can't see how they are exactly the same. As Cold pressed orange juice is one ingredient. Coke. Is many many chemicals in one can. I try not to eat or drink anything I don't understand the ingredients lol Sent from my Swift 2 using BariatricPal mobile app

Pregnancy post sleeve
dreamingsmall replied to NickelMouse's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It does not matter if anyone has or has not been okay, as it really is individual , the rules to wait till 12 months + post are there for a reason due to the increased risk of miscarriages and premature births. That is a fact, Some people have had healthy babies, some have ended up with babies on the special care unit, and some babies did not make it at all. anecdotal evidence is not going to help you. Hopefully someone who has had a healthy pregnancy under 12months will be able to help you Congratulations , contact your surgeon/DR asap so they can monitor you through this process, give you an eating plan etc and for anyone else reading they say losing weight increases your fertility so it is important to have a suitable plan in place things do just happen like you said OP , some people are just super fertile which is understandable after this boost of weightloss! Get yourself to the DR as soon as you can All the best on this possible new journey. -

I think all surgerys are done differently like some people eating at 4 days plus and feel great, i had a lump of protein shake powder slide down a week in and thought i was having a heart attack lol. It really just depends.
