Disappointed by food
dreamingsmall replied to retonya kidd's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Best time of my life has been when food disappointed me. Haha 4 month post. Weights falling off when I'm not interested in food or food makes me have a weird tummy or whatever. I listen to my body. -

Weight loss has stopped [emoji33] goal realistic?
dreamingsmall replied to am3ie's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
How are you coping after your surgeries? I said on another post if be dead at almost 400lbs. Due to the health issues I already had at 200+ apparently that's offensive to those nearly 400lbs. But that's my truth. I was already on my way to a stroke and I was only 250 at hieghest. My body was under alot of stress. I don't feel I'm meant to be large. I just forced it but my body couldn't take it lol. -
Weight loss has stopped [emoji33] goal realistic?
dreamingsmall replied to am3ie's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
You know what. If you like toast have it. Those carbs won't stop you from dropping. I was only saying I'd ditch it. As then I can save the calories as it doesn't do much. But you need to enjoy life too lol. I'm not doing low carb and I've lost over 50 lbs in 3months. I don't intentionally do low carb. But they are not high. You need to do what is sustainable for you that's important. I used to eat alot of bread. So it's shocking I don't eat it now even though I'm allowed lol -

No problem I'm no expert. Only 4 months post. I've seen that too.. I stay under 800 and weight loss is rapid. But you will find what works. I don't do any excersise. Perhaps I'd need more if I moved more. You can do this. What will your meals be ? At 206 I would say your body is not done losing ( I don't know your height but I was feeling quite big still then as I'm only 5 foot 2. But you have lost so much your body needs to catch up. So give it time -

Let's Dish!!! Do You Still Like To Cook and Interact With Food?
dreamingsmall replied to FluffyChix's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Its honestly not hard with kids. Like I made my toddlers pasta with a nice tomatoe sauce with corn and meat balls and cheese. I made the meatballs in the oven. Before throwing in the pot with everything. My meatballs are separate so I'll just have the meatballs and some sauce. So I always Cook the meat separate. I'm allowed pasta on my plan but don't crave it. Good luck with your goal! You can do it!! -
Let's Dish!!! Do You Still Like To Cook and Interact With Food?
dreamingsmall replied to FluffyChix's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
1I had over 100+lbs to lose and now 57lbs left just four months in. Your right I'm not interested in fancy food. But my food does taste delicious or I wouldn't be able to eat it. I love halloumi cheese and cucumber at the moment so I use two slices of cucumber and some fried halloumi in the middle like alittle sand which the hot cheese with cold cucumber is so nice. -
Let's Dish!!! Do You Still Like To Cook and Interact With Food?
dreamingsmall replied to FluffyChix's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I bet there are successful people who make fancy recipes. I just prefer to keep it simple as that's just me. But if your a foodie and you enjoy cooking it won't hold you back trying a variety of things. I just don't like variety. I make a million meat balls in the oven. And just eat that with some cheese and spinach till its finished . I can't be bothered spending along time cooking for the sake of a few bites lol -
8 weeks post op thursday
dreamingsmall replied to Msmexy's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
40lbs .. 7 weeks.. Wants to lose more rapidly? Not judging. Answer this. Have you ever lost 40lbs in 7 weeks in your life ? I think you need to tamper with your expectation gage. Its letting you down. When you lower your expectations you will see how well you have done. I also don't want others to read this post who have lost less and they start to worry. -
