Am I eating too much?
dreamingsmall replied to ToughButFair's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
When you move to dense protein you will feel restrictions. I was also meant to just eat three times a day. I manage it now. Also drink water when you think your hungry ..your doing the right thing stopping before feeling full your actually still healing so you may not feel full yet. I burp sneeze tummy gurgles that's what my signs were at first. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app -
Weight Loss Stall, Frustrated
dreamingsmall replied to gwbicster's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Your doing great. Sometimes your body stalls to catch up from the shock of weightloss. If you can try to resist the urge to have more than ( what ever the amount is on your plan say 4/5 ounce) alot of people can fit in more they just chose not to. Your doing great. I don't count carbs as I'm not required to and it hasn't effected anything. Your breakfast sounds like it's been working up to now.. it also sounds like deep down you don't want to change it so perhaps try mixing it up in another area of your eating so you can keep your breakfast say cut carbs else we're if you want ? Do I really need a NUT?
dreamingsmall replied to sylvia2017's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Some people don't But from what I've just read ( it's not about the weight loss but congrats) you for sure need to see a nutritionist. Googling won't help you get a plan suitable for your current needs. But it's upto you. I can't get in to see my dietician so she rings me sometimes. Maybe one could ring you or Skype Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app -
WHY IS THE SCALE GOING UP
dreamingsmall replied to imworthit31's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It went up in a day lol Come on..that's not fat. Probably just water weight. Our body fluctuates. If it makes you this crazy don't weigh everyday there really is no point. Once a week or once every two weeks will help you avoid noticing these things. Keep your fluid up it will go away Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app -

dreamingsmall replied to Danny Paul's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I wouldn't make assumptions.. just because she lost weight and doesn't eat much ..just because you have had it. I lost 50 lbs in three months a year ago by not eating and keto. I lost the same exact amount after wls 50 in 3 months. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app -

4 weeks is not enough space in my opinion if you will be in a hospital on your feet all day with paitents still on liquids/puree struggling to get your liquids in. It will be hard as it feels like a full time job and focus getting everything in. But I did my surgery over summer break. Going to class wouldn't be a problem after 2+ weeks but I'd really consider having a full 6 weeks off. If you have to be in a hospital setting. Just my opinion.

I’m a little nervous...
dreamingsmall replied to Dashofpixiedust8's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
You will be fine !! I was 244 at my heighest still fit in a normal seat. Enjoy your trip. Can I ask. I thought people don't do skin removal till at goal. Will you have to go in again? I'm 189 now. And even though my heighest wasnt super high I'm already really saggy so I think I might need some sort of fixing when I hit goal. Especially my tummy -
You can't expect any amount . Plus how can we estimate for you. We don't know your body. And even though you do we never know what it will do. Setting expectations can lead to feeling like you have failed. So as long as you stick to you plan focus on that. Everyone's start weight is different. I lost 50 lbs in 3 months. Some lose 15. You have surgery second of December and you don't know if you need vitamins ? Spin class - ask your actual doctor. Each has different rules.

I do none. And my weight loss is moving at a good pace. Keep doing what you can. What do you eat daily ?

Good luck op you will be fine. Congrats on your little one. Take each day as it comes and try and focus on dense protein . You haven't failed at all. I feel like these things are a lesson so we can figure out what we need to do to make it work you still have your tool. All the best!
