Was this surgery enough for you?
dreamingsmall replied to frust8's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Please can I ask. Is the scar across the bottom of your belly really bad ? I've seen them on you tube for people who had tummy tuck and it looks pretty bad. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk -

Very discouraged op 1/11/18
dreamingsmall replied to abrasmile's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I didn't know it's offensive to ask someone what their eating. When they post asking for help I actually think why are you asking for help with giving absolutely no detail . You may eat as your doctor suggested but perhaps if you posted your food someone msy notice something that may benifit from being adjusted or moved around. That is why people ask what you eat. Should I switch to sleeve?
dreamingsmall replied to bustybrunette's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
You can eat crap with a sleeve too. So that's something to think about. Sorry you had a rough time. I've had my sleeve 7 months and I love it. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk -
Just Curious .. can you handle bread, rice, pasta?
dreamingsmall replied to Leo85's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was not told to stay away from any of these. Infact they are on my written plan in meal examples. I can tolerate them.. But I don't like them now. I may have a spoon of rice but I don't eat much of it. Don't like pasta anymore. Bread. Hmm. Used to be what i ate alot. But now. I prefer like a Melba toast. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk -

What did you do with your old clothing? AND clothing goals?
dreamingsmall replied to melsabells's topic in The Gals' Room
I remember at 244 I said I won't buy any clothes till I'm at goal. I'm 160s now and I can't stop buying I'm a size 12 now from a 24ish ( UK size ) I haven't given any away because in my head they still fit. But I don't wear them because my friends keep laughing at me saying my clothes are falling of me. I really need to stop buying. But from 160s to 135 is it possible I'l stay a size 12 as I don't wear tight clothes always wear a size up. So maybe I'll get to keep my new clothes as they are so stylish. Anyone's kids comment on their weightloss?
dreamingsmall posted a topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I think it's Soo funny. At my biggest he said " are you sure your not too big for the toilet ?"( Not being mean genuine question as my butt was bigger than the toilet lol" Kids are super honest and don't say things just to make you happy so I believe him over my friends who I think are just complimenting me as friends do lol Today he said : These days your just so little. I'm a super big boy now but your getting so cute and little. A few days ago he said Your tummy is getting tiny mummy should I make you something to eat out of my play Dough? I'll take that as a compliment as my tummy was huge lol Has your kids said anything?a Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk -
Smoking and Eating bad hysterectomy and lots of questions
dreamingsmall replied to Presurg1's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Your going to have a big awaking. " We can't eat the food without repercussions." WRONG!!! Then why are people gaining 100lbs back ? Because we can find a away if we want to. I'm 7 months post and I could sure as hell eat what I want no repercussions but I choose not to. If this is what's holding you thinking this will be the case after. Then good luck to ya. As yeah some people may not be able to but most of us can do just find sliding in slider foods if we don't change our habit. The poster your talking to is right. And he's 17 month post. But your talking like your trying to educate him ... But what your saying isn't even the case. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk -
Just do the liquid diet for a couple extra days for assurance. But it's understandable to be worried. I'm sure your surgeon knows about your fatty liver. If not mention it and see if she wants you to liquid extra days Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk

In the UK. The gp will usually sort out vitamins. Aslong as the surgeon sends with the paitent the list the require them to take. Your right your doctor has to be on board. I told my Dr and she even wrote a letter to say she was oboard for my surgeon. He didn't need it lol. As it was private. My doctor gave me a bag of vitamins the week before my surgery and then now i get my vitamins for free on prescription. It's brilliant. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk

Still dieting after gastric bypass
dreamingsmall replied to thiklips's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I suppose to me. Making better choices doesn't = diet for me. When I did diet I was miserable and only thinking about food and it was just taking over my life lol. I don't feel that way now.. but my plan doesn't call for tracking.. not even tracking protein. But when I decided to track anyway as everyone here was tracking it made me miserable. The only thing I do every now and again is to see what 4 oz looks like on my scale with foods I eat all the time..but now I just use a small container. And eat super slow. And if that stops working I'll regroup. But it's good for.me for.now. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk -
Still dieting after gastric bypass
dreamingsmall replied to thiklips's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Lol . I'm 7 months out. Weight is pouring of and I'm not dieting. I don't track unless I need to just check I'm eating right amount every now and again. I eat the foods allowed on the plan and get on with my day. I don't feel I'm dieting what's so ever. I'm sorry you feel that way. It would suck for me too. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk -

I have regular B12 injections. Regular bloods I'm 7 months out. And have done not amazing with vitamins. I'm working on it. My surgeon told me to drop the iron to reduce the number of tabs I'm taking as my bloods are normal. So he said just try and take my multi and calcium daily. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk

Tell me. Why would you do the surgery. Then ask for less to be removed than your surgeon finds to be most successful? Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
